“Mmm…” Kinn let out a satisfied groan, making my heart stutter. He put his hand on mine and forced it up to his boxers.
“Shit!” I cried out when the back of my hand brushed against his hardening length. I immediately pulled away.
“Why are you so surprised?” he rasped.
“What are you doing?” I asked with a scowl.
“You have to clean me everywhere.” He smirked.
I furrowed my brow and threw the towel at his face. “You bastard!” I shouted. Kinn didn’t wait for me to keep cursing; he grabbed my waist with one arm and pulled me down onto the bed. He flipped us over, settling on top of me to prevent me from escaping.
“Ah!” I quietly yelped when his weight pressed into my hip, crushing my bruised tailbone against the mattress.
Kinn frowned when he saw my face contort in pain. “What’s wrong?”
“Let me go!” I yelled, using both hands to push against Kinn’s chest.
“Shh! Do you want people to hear you?” Kinn said. He grabbed hold of my arms and pressed them against the bed.
“Kinn! Let me go!” I thrashed against his hold. Kinn lowered his face and pressed his lips against my cheek. I startled and went still, face flushing as a strange feeling rushed through my body.
“I missed you so much,” Kinn told me, smiling, his nose still rubbing against my cheek before he moved down to nuzzle at my neck.
My lips pressed together in a thin line. No matter how much I wanted to resist, my traitorous heart was telling me to accept his touch. I stopped squirming, warily watching him from the corner of my eye. I was starting to feel excited. His sweet words may have been brief, but they made me lose myself to the warmth surging inside my heart.
“Hmm…” Kinn pulled away from my neck and kissed his way up to my face.
The tip of Kinn’s nose brushed against mine before he pressed a tender kiss to my lips. I closed my eyes and accepted his touch, the heat in my chest burning like a flame. He deepened the kiss, languidly nibbling at my lips before his scorching-hot tongue tangled with mine.
I responded instinctively, not wanting him to have the upper hand. Kinn licked and sucked at my tongue demandingly, searching. I felt the edge of his teeth nip gently at my lower lip before his tongue twined with mine once more. Lost in my desire, I didn’t notice Kinn had released my hands. When my awareness came back, I found my arms looped loosely around his neck.
“Oh…” I groaned, showing how much Kinn’s actions affected me. His hands were just as busy as his mouth, reaching into my shirt and fondling my chest. The sensation was hard to describe, but it wasn’t unpleasant. I felt a swooping sensation low in my belly, the ache I had been holding back since the afternoon steadily building. Kinn’s hand slid from my chest to softly caress my body. Then he pulled me up by the waist and reached down to give my ass a firm squeeze…
“Ow!” I pulled sharply back from Kinn’s lips and pushed his face away.
“What’s wrong?” Kinn asked, voice tense. Both his lips and mine were wet with saliva.
“That hurts!” I cried, my face twisting in pain. Kinn stroked my ass gently before squeezing even harder.
“Ow! Kinn, you bastard!” I yelled, shoving him off of me. Kinn swayed a bit, but soon righted himself and sat up straight.
“What did you do?” he asked icily, glaring at me. I squinted at him as I lay there, then propped myself up on my elbows and swallowed thickly.
“I-I slipped and fell,” I stammered. I didn’t want Kinn to lose his shit again, so I didn’t dare mention that Vegas had visited me at the house—but it seemed it was too late. Kinn sat there and silently looked me up and down with an accusatory stare.
“Don’t look at me like that!” I shouted, my voice trembling with the effort of not exploding in frustration. I sat up to face him.
“Who did you fool around with?!” Kinn snarled, his eyes lit up with rage.
I glared at him. “What do you mean, fool around? I slipped and fell!” I snapped back. I fucking hated every word out of his mouth!
“Who?!” Kinn growled.
I met his eyes with an equally furious glare of my own, unafraid. “I’m not some slut screwing every guy in sight like you! Don’t you dare look down on me, asking me who I fucked!” I retorted, jumping down from the bed. Everything I felt during the kiss vanished into thin air, leaving only fury.
Kinn stared at me disdainfully. “You had no problem getting fucked by me!” he shouted as he flung the basin onto the floor, water splashing everywhere. I hurriedly turned away to avoid getting soaked.
“You only think that because you’re a fucking pervert!” I shouted, tugging my hair back in frustration. “You scumbag!”
Kinn gritted his teeth and continued to curse at me. “I only fucked you once! Did you like it so much that you had to find someone else to scratch the itch for you? Hah! Get lost! I won’t have anyone else’s sloppy seconds!”
Kinn’s words enraged me so much that I clenched my fists and started shaking. “That one time with you will haunt me for the rest of my life, you bastard!” I kicked the hospital bed with all my might, making it lurch forward.
“Hey!”
I didn’t pay attention to Kinn’s shouts as I stormed away, shoving the door open with a loud bang. All the bodyguards outside turned to look at me at once. I rushed past Pete, who looked like he was about to call out to me. I didn’t give a damn about anything anymore. I rushed out of the hospital as quickly as I could.
I took a taxi straight to Tem’s dorm. He’d been a little reluctant when I called him, but still came down to the first floor to pick me up in the end.
“Have some water,” Tem said, pouring a glass and handing it to me.
“Am I troubling you?” I asked Tem as he sat uncomfortably on the sofa.
“No, it’s fine. What happened to you, though?” he asked.
“Nothing. Can I sleep here tonight?” I asked, hesitant. Tem immediately nodded in reply. I didn’t want to face anyone associated with Kinn right then.
I didn’t really want to admit it, but I felt practically heartbroken. Heartbroken about everything—both Kinn’s words and his actions. I didn’t want to believe he could make me this upset.
“You can go wash up. Just borrow some of my clothes for now,” Tem said, throwing a towel at me and looking for some pajamas I could wear. I took a shower, washing myself distractedly.
Once I’d sorted myself out, I went out onto the balcony, lighting a cigarette and letting the smoke fill my lungs. I used the time to call Chay and tell him I wasn’t coming back tonight, and asked Arm to take care of my brother while I was gone. Then I remembered that I forgot all my stuff—including my laptop—in Kinn’s hospital room, so I had to call Pete and ask him to bring my belongings to the university tomorrow. Everyone sounded concerned as they agreed to my requests, but I didn’t want to hear or explain anything else. I left it at that and turned off my phone.
“Tem, it’s going to rain.” I poked my head back in. “Aren’t you going to bring your clothes in?”
Tem had just emerged from the bathroom, still toweling his hair. He startled at my sudden reappearance but nodded. I looked at the drying rack and gathered the clothes on it, cigarette still in my mouth. I held up a t-shirt, puzzled—it looked way too big for Tem, and not his style, either.
“Thanks,” Tem said as he took the pile of clothes from me and hurried inside. I decided to stop thinking about unimportant things and sighed, trying to let out my resentment. I lit my third cigarette, stressed out and at my limit.
“Get lost! I won’t have anyone else’s sloppy seconds!”
I was fucking devastated!
Kinn, you fucking depraved bastard! Damn you all the way to hell and back! Since when did he have such an effect on my feelings? That motherfucker!
“Porsche! What the hell are you doing?! You’re going to break my washing machine!” Tem burst through the balcony door to shout at me. I’d kicked the appliance so hard it let out a loud bang.
“Sorry!” I hissed.
