Chapter 241: The Seduction Failed, Though She Was Beautiful.
This Higher Being wasn’t taking any chances, increasing the potency of their seductive Magic to the highest level, it now being a somewhat visible mist. To be fair to them, you’d have to at least be a very high Level High Goddess, or a Supreme Goddess to actually see this tricksy magic; and I’m intentionally hiding my strength.
If it was a Mortal in my place, they’d become mindless sex toys from just the first setting that this Higher Being went with; let alone what they’re doing now. Hell, even I feel a twinge of lust and arousal. It just isn’t anywhere near enough to get me to act foolish, or be seduced by whomever used this annoying type of Magic.

Something had slipped into the water, out of my view. Unfortunately for them, I’m at the power level where I don’t need my eyes to see, so I knew what entered the water, and where they currently were; slowly swimming over to me. A false thing soon raised out from the depths, then faced me directly. Their gaze and expression was… her acting entirely innocent, as if they didn’t try to destroy my sanity with Magic, arousal inducing mist; or, at least, numb my senses a bit.
Fiona: “To seek me out in these deep waters… Perhaps, you have lust for me, Miss unknown Higher Being? I wouldn’t mind bedding you, not at all.” She said with a seductive tone and expression, taking hold of some of my (still dry, due to, you know, what I am) hair, and tenderly playing with it.
Vulely: “Oh? A slutty Mermaid is a little…too cliché, is it not?” I replied with a smug tone.
Fiona: “Are we not above the silly morality of the lesser beings, Miss? The prudest Higher Being will easily have a sexual body count 100,000 times the most debauched Mortal.” She expressed with a smile, attempting to reach out and touch my neck.
Vulely: “Hm…I guess that you’re correct about that. Though, you shouldn’t act like enjoying the easily manipulated sexual desires of Mortals…is above you.” I replied with a laugh.
Fiona: “I shall never deny that, no. Now then, wouldn’t this, sex, be a wonderful arrangement between us? As I’ve said, lying with you wouldn’t be a wound, and I promise it’ll be amazing. It is a win-win.” She continued with her seduction, now adding in a melodic, smooth, Magic-enhanced voice, obviously going in for the kill.
A weaker woman (none of Celia’s harem, though) would fall for Fiona’s deal. Not in the sense that she’s trying to trick, hurt, or kill me, mind you. Fiona knows that it is impossible to win against me in a fight, and is hoping her Magic and body is enough to survive.
This is, in fact, the smart thing to do. For beings with endless time, sex is valued very highly, if not the most valuable thing one can offer them. Such a deal would absolutely work for other Higher beings; Fiona and them would do the dirty, and the potential threat would then move on without a fuss. Ah, how truly unfortunate for the faux Mermaid; if only I was a single woman, and that this wasn’t someone Celia knew, I’d agree…
