Chapter 240: Deep, Deep Cave.

Vulely: “Frances, Lyrica, about ten miles below is a cave. Inside, I sense a stronger being than I expected, so I’ll be checking whatever it is out ahead of you, okay? And, as an example of the method being dangerous if you’re unskilled…I’ll meet you both later.” I said with a joking salute, before then instantly sinking down to the bottom of the sea, in mere milliseconds.

Frances and Lyrica: “( @ _ @ )”

With my superior eyes and brain processing speed, I was able to see their expressions before I left. Those spiral eyes…heh, I’ll never tire of seeing someone look so damn confused. It is only our wonderful luck that Celia doesn’t intentionally break people’s minds, or, perhaps, this…existence would be far more turbulent at a minimum.

Either way, I just used Divinity to make myself heavy enough to sink in the water quickly. Though, since I’m intimate with Divinity and Mana, I stopped before hitting the bottom. It was kinda like riding the world’s fastest elevator; that is to say, actually a bit fun.

Plop!

Vulely: “Hmm…” Was all that I let leave my mouth. “A deep-sea cave, with a sizable air pocket? Very unlikely at this depth, let alone the oxygen being breathable(ish) and not toxic smelling. This must be Higher Being made, or fixed by one.” I thought as I carefully dipped my head above the water.

Hm? What’s that, a plot hole/bullshit thing that I randomly added to the world building? No, you foolish, uppity consumer of my narration; you’re completely wrong! Rather, for most, they wouldn’t need training to swim properly; they’d have more than enough time to safely get used to Divinity and Mana.

But, only as a God or Goddess, you see. Getting boosted straight to Highest Goddess…is a lot, so Frances and Lyrica’s supply is massive and strong; thus, dangerous for them to carelessly use. Yes, I’ll admit to fucking with them a bit, as, in reality, Celia has capped their supply for safety. If careless, they’d still sink through the planet, though.

Drip!

Anyway…back to the situation at hand. I had gone through a submerged cave entrance, swimming a mile in it, soon reaching a section which went upward. A dry cave awaited me above the water, air fine and clean, it even lit up. Of course, this air would kill a Mortal still, but it wasn’t for breathing. Instead, the Higher Being here (I know that it’s a person, as a beast or a space horror wouldn’t bother with doing this) had likely only fixed it so that the smell wouldn’t be bad, making their recovery environment less frustrating to be stuck in.

Strangely, I now smell a relaxing…enticing aroma, an invisible fog had been sent my way. Clearly, my presence was noticed; though I wasn’t really bothering with trying to be sneaky. Airborne seduction Magic, huh?… Do they really think that they could seduce me, a fully, eternally loyal woman to my loving wife?! They are such fools!!!
