Chapter 229: Nothing Of Quality Was Found...

In our excitement, Guanyu and I overlooked an important tidbit about Celia. While shopping for clothing…there wasn’t a single piece worth even trying on. Despite going to the last resort, a super-upscale fashion store, with the cheapest item being a hat worth $10,000, nothing there could compare to Celia’s designs and material quality.

Most of the time, I do end up forgetting about my wife’s grand skills at…a lot of things, including her sense of fashion. Other customers (obviously, all wealthy individuals) all looked at the three of us like we were aliens. It was such a shocking event, that, at the moment, we are driving in a luxurious car. Inside it with us, were two women; a mother in her 50s, and a daughter likely in their early 30s.

Frances: “How much?” Was all she said, eyes closed after doing so.

Celia: “For?” She replied with a head tilt.

Lyrica: “Those designs, of course. Clearly, an unknown designer had put you three up to flaunting those superior outfits in one of our stores, and to our loyal clientele.” She clarified in her mother’s stead.

Celia: “Oh, they aren’t for sale.” She replied with a giggle.

Frances: “So, this designer wants an exclusivity deal, huh? I won’t deny that being quite smart, though it is very frustrating.” She expressed with a (an incorrect!!!) knowing tone and thinking pose.

Celia: “( ? _ ? )”

This was all very funny, reminding me of the kind of scenes you’d see/read in a Chinese, modern Baihe novel. As such, I didn’t add anything to this conversation, and Guanyu was similarly quiet as can be. Anything to distract our lover from her unneeded worries was fine, that included this little self-made drama unfolding before us right now.

To be fair, Frances’s accusation does sound reasonable, and something that could easily happen in this industry. Rather, it seemed like the woman must have done this to someone else in the past, and isn’t very happy to be on the receiving end of the ploy.

Lyrica: “T-this material is…” Were her shocked words, as she rubbed my wife’s leg, feeling their dress.

Celia: “Hey, I’m a married woman; so please remove your hand.” She informed with a calm tone.

Lyrica: “We’re all female here, so what does me touching you matter? Women get handsy or touchy-feely with each other all the time. It’s also just your dress.” She replied with an unbothered tone, choosing to keep her actions up.

Celia: “Perhaps, but I am a lesbian; and those two are my wives. I don’t feel anything for a random person that I do not know, but…Guanyu and Vulely will do something drastic if you don’t stop.” She clarified with an awkward tone and expression.

Frances: “From here, I, as well, can tell that the material of your attires are…of a higher quality than even our best stock uses. However, that is something to discuss civilly; Lyrica, please stop fondling Miss Celia’s dress in front of her wives.” She scolded with a motherly smile.

Lyrica: “Why? You and I have seen so many naked women in our lives, as nudity is required in our industry. There isn’t anything sexual about this. What, are you going to tell me that these two are yanderes, or something?” She replied with a pout, saving her hand from our wraith as she reluctantly removed it from Celia’s leg.

Celia: “Yes, they absolutely are yanderes.” She admitted with a deadpan tone and expression.

Lyrica: “(~OAO)”
