Chapter 209: Pelia's Daze.
Pelia: “…”
Celia’s antics were impossible to keep just to those who met her; tales of my wife reaching every place, Dimension, and Universe where Higher Beings inhabit. As such, though not having directly or indirectly meeting her, Pelia was very much aware of Celia’s…special existence.
Even in Immortal circles, stories are often embellished, so, Pelia, like most do, didn’t put much stock into what she heard. However, after surviving a fight, becoming her wife, and getting to know her, Pelia came to understand that…those rumors, if anything, downplayed Celia’s everything to an extreme degree.
Xinolily: “Mom, is something wrong?” She asked with an innocent tone.
Pelia: “Huh? Ah, no; nothing's wrong.” She replied with an awkward smile.
Xinolily: “Oh, good. Have you and your wives fully settled in to our estate, and way of living yet?” She asked another question, this time with a curious tone and expression.
Pelia: “…”
Xinolily: “?”
Pelia: “Well, some have, and some haven’t. A few think that this is all still a dream, you see.” She answered with a sigh.
Xinolily: “And, what about you?” She replied with a head tilt.
Pelia: “I…” She couldn’t really say any more than that.
She had already accepted that this was her reality, that she was forgiven so easily, and then given all that Pelia herself could ever want in life. Unfortunately, Pelia is stuck on the ‘do I deserve any of this?’ path, further self-hatred added the more and more that Celia makes her feel loved.
Celia doesn’t ask Pelia for anything in return, and, as it is Pelia’s preference, Celia is even submissive in bed. Sex with our wife is…absolutely magical, and, that on top of this absurdly amazing living situation, Pelia’s feelings aren’t surprising.
Pelia: “For one, I never thought that I’d have children. Sure, you’re all adults, but…I was accepted as your mother almost instantly. This loving family dynamic is…breathtaking.” She said after staying silent for a few minutes, a bit conflicted.
Xinolily: “Eh, you’ll get used to it in time, Mom. This probably just means that Celia has yet to break you in her unique way.” She replied with a shrug.
Pelia: “Please see it from my perspective, Lily. I haven’t been here long at all, yet, I’m already part of and treated as family. I don’t mean to be rude, it’s just…as one of our daughters, you’ve been exposed far longer.” She said with a sighful tone.
Xinolily: “Longer? I became Celia’s daughter not long before she brought you to Home, Mom. My experience isn’t that many months more than your own.” She clarified with a giggle.
Pelia: “( o_o)”
This information, especially when she saw that Lily wasn’t joking, threw Pelia for a loop. Celia was truly a special being, one which Pelia regrets not meeting far earlier. To think that she’ll be officially married to Celia soon…gives Pelia a mix of pure happiness and depression. If only she’d learn that Celia is more than willing to help Pelia through this trial of hers.
