Chapter 206: It Wasn't Possible To Stop Her...
Celia: “Why are you both so silent?” She expressed with a confused head tilt.
Pure dread filled my daughter and I, as we knew, without a doubt, that Celia was here to casually say that she did something crazy once more. The worst part isn’t that my wife does this all the time; instead, it, our suffering, is caused by her not doing this on purpose.
Not in the way that she isn’t trying to discover or fix things; Celia definitely is. Rather, the fact that she rarely ever asks for praise, let alone anything in return, for solving issues that have plagued (or at least, annoyed) Higher Beings for millions of years. Of course, my dearest could just be here to say hi, and isn’t going to make us suffer even more.
Runeth: “Mom, is there a reason why you came here? I thought that you were still in forced relaxation…” She asked with a shaky tone.
Celia: “I am, but that doesn’t mean my mind can’t get some work done. Anyway, I figured out how to…” She was cut off.
Vulely: “Is it something that, upon hearing, all Higher Beings will feel like utter fools?” I sternly asked with a sigh.
Celia: “I mean…” She was cut off again.
Runeth: “Do we have to hear what you’ve learned, or can blissful ignorance shield us for longer? Hopefully, forever…” She pleaded with a desperate expression.
Celia: “This isn’t something to be so dramatic over, you two.” She answered with a reassuring smile, which only made us even more worried.
An Hour Later.
Call us horrible for doing this, but we couldn’t trust Celia’s words on her discovery being simple. As such, we needed a bit of time to calm down; now sitting in the living room, drinking tea.
Suffering is best weathered by sharing it with others, so we dragged everyone else that could be taken to be here with us. No matter how much Celia’s next words will hurt, we’ll have each other to blunt the hit.
Ria: “Vulely was very vague earlier, so, I am quite curious on what you’ve figured out; considering how scared she and Runeth became over it.” She said with a small smile, seemingly numb to her wife’s antics.
Runeth: “We haven’t actually heard it from her mouth just yet.” She informed with an awkward tone.
Zia: “Preemptive fear? Perhaps, like she said, you and Vulely are being overdramatic.” She added with a giggle.
Vulely and Runeth: “…”
Ah, poor, poor twins; unaware of how much of an infohazard Celia can be sometimes. Maybe they’ve merely deluded themselves into forgetting this important aspect of Celia? Either way, the only calm ones were them; so I’ll just see it as Zia and Ria being strong for the rest of us. Surely, nothing too bad will spawn out from my wife’s lips. Is what I would say…if this wasn’t me narrating over past events!!!
