Chapter 1217: Where’s Your Shame?

3 min read

"Several years?" Charles Seymour snorted and said, "You won’t get it even after decades."

Does he think everyone can be as impressive as his Sophie?

Julian Campbell scratched his ear, why does talking about such serious matters make him feel like his uncle is showing off his love to him?

It must be his imagination.

Yeah, imagination!

"Alright, come over now," Charles Seymour said.

"Now?" Julian Campbell asked in surprise.

"Do you plan to delay learning any longer?" Charles Seymour questioned coldly.

"No, no, no... I’ll talk to Auntie Sophie when she comes back," Julian Campbell hurriedly said.

"What’s Auntie Sophie up to?" Charles Seymour asked, puzzled.

Sophie had promised to tutor Julian; she would never irresponsibly leave.

"Auntie Sophie went to get me some snacks so I can eat something," Julian Campbell foolishly blurted out the truth.

As soon as he said this, he inexplicably felt a sudden chill by his ear. He looked up; he wasn’t standing under the air conditioning vent, so why did it suddenly feel cold?

"Come back right now!" Charles Seymour ordered, "I happen to have some business to discuss, it’ll be a live lesson for you."

He actually let Sophie fetch snacks for him.

Julian Campbell was quite enjoying himself!

Upon hearing such a great opportunity, Julian immediately responded, "Okay, I’ll be right over!"

After saying this, Julian hung up the phone and hurriedly ran out to find Sophie Wilson. After speaking with her, he grabbed his bag and ran off.

Sophie Wilson, with snacks in hand, tilted her head and watched Julian Campbell dash away like the wind, then suddenly chuckled. Silly Julian.

"Julian left from here." Back in her office, Sophie Wilson made a call to Charles Seymour.

"Yeah, I know. I happen to have some business to discuss here, letting him watch will be a good experience," Charles Seymour calmly stated.

"Dear, why do I feel like someone’s getting jealous?" Sophie Wilson wasn’t like Julian, she wouldn’t be so easily fooled by someone.

Charles Seymour, having been exposed by Sophie, didn’t hide it and openly admitted, "Yeah."

Sophie Wilson helplessly sighed, "Why are you getting jealous over a kid like Julian?"

"He used to be your idol," Charles Seymour stated outright.

"He was, but..." Sophie Wilson’s explanation was cut short by Charles revealing the thing that bothered him most, "He’s male."

Sophie Wilson facepalmed, oh great, Three-year-old Seymour was back in action.

"Alright, alright, it’s my bad for not considering your feelings. Next time, I’ll keep a certain distance from all male entities to avoid any misunderstandings," Sophie conceded. Someone is quite sensitive about this issue, what else can she do?

Of course, she should pamper him. She can at least avoid suspicion, right?

"I didn’t misunderstand," Charles Seymour affirmed, "I know you wouldn’t fancy them."

Sophie Wilson raised an eyebrow, oh wow, someone has this self-awareness?

"I’m far superior to them," Charles Seymour’s next words made Sophie grit her teeth. If Charles were in front of her, she’d definitely throw a cushion at him.

And where’s your face?

"Yes, yes, yes, you’re the best, the most amazing!" Sophie Wilson said with a laugh, "Hurry up and get ready, Julian will be there soon."

"Let him wait," Charles Seymour felt no guilt whatsoever. What could possibly be more important than chatting with Sophie?

What a joke!
