Chapter 1218: Worthy of Praise

3 min read

"What about the business partners?" Sophie Wilson asked curiously.

"Let them wait," Charles Seymour said matter-of-factly. "Jim can handle it too."

Sophie Wilson sighed silently to herself. So, it turns out that the business doesn’t actually require Charles Seymour to conduct talks personally, right?

He found such an excuse just to have Julian Campbell go over there, leaving her side, right?

Ultimately, it’s just someone being irrationally jealous again, right?

Sophie Wilson was truly impressed with Charles Seymour.

"Originally, Jim Perry could’ve handled the business. But to teach Julian Campbell, you decided to negotiate yourself? You’re such a great uncle!" Sophie Wilson praised Charles Seymour.

"Hmm," someone responded shamelessly, without the slightest bit of embarrassment.

He felt he deserved the praise from his wife.

Sophie Wilson: "..."

How on earth can he respond so nonchalantly with "Hmm" without any inner guilt?

Oh well, he’s her man, though occasionally a bit childish. However, he should still be cherished.

Sophie Wilson smiled and praised again, "My dear is so amazing, so responsible, truly awesome!"

"Hmm," Charles Seymour responded, with a noticeable rise in his tone, clearly showing that he was in a very good mood, soaring!

"Since Mr. Seymour is so wonderful, I’ll treat you to dinner tonight. How about we go for Western cuisine?" Sophie Wilson suggested.

"Sure," Charles Seymour quickly agreed.

"Alright, handle the company matters properly, see you tonight." Sophie Wilson smiled, smacked a kiss on the phone, and then hung up.

The two of them exchanging flattering words was quite entertaining.

Meanwhile, since arriving at Peace Corporation, Julian Campbell followed Charles Seymour to witness a negotiation.

He watched as his little uncle unleashed his full power at the negotiating table, leaving the opposing party with no ability to counter.

The dominance was intense, overwhelming; a negotiation that should have been deadlocked was resolved by Charles Seymour in one go, meeting his expected outcomes without a single deviation.

What impressed Julian Campbell the most was that, after signing such a contract, the other party still seemed grateful.

This skill, Julian Campbell thought, if he could learn even one-tenth of it, he could manage Seymour Corporation.

"Learned something?" Charles Seymour asked.

Julian Campbell nodded repeatedly, eyes bright: "Little uncle, when can I reach your level?"

"It’s simple, remember all the information here," Charles Seymour said, pointing at his head. "Don’t overlook any detail, and pay attention to the other’s reactions, then you can gain the upper hand."

"The key is to have confidence. As long as you’ve got the aura and you’ve got the assurance, you can control the situation." Charles Seymour’s words made Julian Campbell nod repeatedly, reflecting, "Little uncle, you and little aunt are both incredible."

"Learn slowly, it’s all about step-by-step development," Charles Seymour said.

They grew up in a different environment than Julian Campbell did. They went through many life-and-death situations, and without that experience, they wouldn’t have survived.

Julian Campbell leads an ordinary life, but he’s smart, learns quickly, and shows promise.

"As long as you’re willing to work hard seriously," Charles Seymour wouldn’t deliberately discourage Julian Campbell. Otherwise, what if he demotivates the kid?

Having Peace Corporation is enough of a time-consuming pursuit; if Julian Campbell doesn’t take over Seymour Corporation, what would happen?
