Chapter 1211: I Believe Too

3 min read

"Auntie." Julian Campbell heard the door move and quickly came out. Just as he was about to speak, he suddenly paused and asked in surprise, "What’s wrong with you?"

Why does it seem like Auntie’s mood isn’t so good?

"Nothing." Sophie Wilson felt frustrated when she thought about what just happened. Why is that guy progressing so quickly in that area?

She had no strength to retaliate, and soon she was kissed dizzy, her limbs weak.

That guy... is annoying!

"Do you need something?" Sophie Wilson asked Julian Campbell.

"Auntie, can I learn from you first?" Julian asked somewhat awkwardly.

"Learn from me?" Sophie said, amused. "I’m not an expert. Your uncle is skilled in this area."

"Auntie, teach me a bit first, help me transition." Julian was on the verge of tears; spending half a day with Uncle Charles made him seriously doubt his life.

"Well, that’s fine." Sophie thought for a moment. "But I don’t really know much about business. How about you watch how I handle things?"

"Sure, sure!" Julian nodded eagerly.

"Alright, I’ll go tell your uncle." Sophie said.

"No need, no need, I’ll tell Uncle Charles myself." Once Julian got Sophie’s approval, he happily rushed into Charles Seymour’s study.

Sophie watched Julian’s particularly cheerful back and couldn’t help but shake her head, wondering how Charles had tortured him to this extent.

Julian was really pitiful.

Sophie scratched her head. She really didn’t know how to teach, as she didn’t have much business experience.

Oh well, whatever she could teach was fine, as long as it helped Julian transition.

In the study, Charles Seymour looked at Julian with indifferent eyes that made Julian feel nervous. Swallowing hard, he said, "Uncle Charles, I’m not doubting your ability, I’m doubting mine, so I want to transition a bit, to adapt first by learning from Auntie."

"Hmm, if that’s what you want, it’s okay." Charles nodded in agreement.

"Thank you, Uncle Charles. I will definitely work hard to learn," Julian said happily, standing upright. As for the strange look in Uncle Charles’s eyes earlier, he was too happy to think deeply about it, "I believe that after learning from Auntie for a while, I will definitely be different."

Charles affirmed, "I believe that too."

With the matter settled, Julian happily went back to rest, too joyful to notice the pity in Charles’s eyes.

The next day, Julian got up early and sat at the dining table. He saw that Charles Seymour was already eating breakfast. Julian sat down and curiously asked, "Uncle Charles, where’s Auntie?"

"Still in bed," Charles said, sipping his porridge.

Julian looked at Charles in surprise, "Auntie said she’ll start teaching me today... did Auntie forget?"

"No," Charles confirmed, "Your Auntie’s method... just learn well."

After saying that, Charles drank the last bit of porridge, got up, and left with his bag.

Leaving Julian at the dining table, blinking in confusion.

"Would you like Chinese or Western breakfast?" the nanny came over and asked.

"Chinese is fine." Julian answered, then asked the nanny, "What time does Auntie usually come down for breakfast?"

"Around eight-thirty," the nanny said with a smile and went into the kitchen.
