Lei Hu laid out the operational plan in detail.
"I’ve already scouted the warehouse layout. There are nine guards inside, working in three rotating shifts."
"The guards are well-equipped, but I didn’t see any power armor, which could be an advantage for us."
"The warehouse only has two entrances, a front and a back."
"Therefore, we will form three task groups. Two will be responsible for the entrances."
"The last group will take out the exterior patrol team as quickly as possible."
"Bena, your squad is the strongest, and you have an exoskeleton. The task of eliminating the patrol team at top speed falls to you!"
"My squad and Adam’s shelter squad will handle the front door."
"The two remaining shelter squads will handle the back door."
"Once inside the warehouse, we need to be as quiet as possible. We take out the guards immediately to prevent any alarms from being raised."
"Our window of opportunity is limited. If possible, we need to complete the mission and return within 24 hours. That way, each shelter can save 100 blue components."
"Does everyone understand their assignments?"
Everyone indicated that they understood.
Lei Hu glanced at the time. "Alright, start your preparations. The guard change is in 50 minutes. We’ll be in position 10 minutes beforehand."
"Everyone, check your gear. Make sure everything is ready."
The teams began to inspect their equipment, confirming that their weapons, armor, and communication devices were all in optimal condition.
Bena and his squad members also double-checked their magnetic shields and supplies, ensuring they could respond quickly to any situation during the operation.
...
Time ticked by, second by second, and everyone’s nerves began to tighten.
Lei Hu checked the time again. "Alright, let’s move out!"
Lei Hu led the force, moving silently toward the target warehouse.
They used the darkness and the surrounding environment for cover, minimizing their chances of being spotted.
Under Lei Hu’s command, the three groups split off swiftly and orderly, each heading to their designated position.
Bena led his squad, using the powerful mobility of his exoskeleton to rapidly close in on the patrol team’s location.
They lurked in the shadows, patiently waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
At Lei Hu’s signal, all three groups attacked simultaneously.
Bena and his squad members pounced on the patrol team like tigers descending a mountain.
Bena immediately activated his exoskeleton, while Zhou Mei silently entered her beast-like state.
Zhou Mei’s Agility was already extremely high, but after entering her beast-like state, it reached an incredible 13 points.
In the blink of an eye, Zhou Mei’s dagger was out.
Two streaks of eerie green light flashed through the air.
In an instant, the last guard in the patrol had his throat slit.
The noise made the two guards in front start to turn around, but one of them was sent flying by a black shadow.
That shadow was none other than Bena with his exoskeleton activated.
The last man started to shout a warning, but he had barely opened his mouth when a flash of cold light lunged for his throat.
The throat is a vital point, after all. In a flash, the man’s breathing stopped.
Having eliminated the three-man patrol in seconds, smiles appeared on everyone’s faces.
「Meanwhile.」
Lei Hu and his squad members crept through the front door of the warehouse, their movements light and swift, making no sound.
Adam’s squad followed close behind, their eyes alert and ready for any unexpected developments.
On the other side, Sima Yue and Seman each led their squads silently through the warehouse’s back door.
They quickly fanned out to their pre-assigned positions and began to sweep the warehouse interior.
Lei Hu signaled for the teams to remain vigilant as they scanned the dim warehouse, searching for the guards.
Both groups located the guards. Six of them were sound asleep on makeshift beds inside the warehouse.
Seeing this, everyone’s faces lit up with joy. This was the best-case scenario.
Taking out all the guards without a sound would reduce the risk of being tracked down later.
At almost the exact same moment, the two groups attacked.
The six sleeping guards were killed before they could even open their eyes.
As the last on-duty guard fell, Lei Hu signaled for the teams to immediately start searching for supplies inside the warehouse.
"Hurry, everyone. We don’t have much time."
"Gather any useful supplies you find. Make sure not to miss anything valuable."
Everyone began to search the warehouse rapidly.
One by one, wooden crates were pried open.
Soon, they discovered large quantities of weapons and armor, as well as some medicine and other supplies.
Bena and his squad also joined the search, their movements swift and methodical.
At first, everyone was all smiles. The operation had been simpler than anyone had anticipated; they had taken the warehouse almost without a fight.
However, the smiles soon began to fade from their faces.
Lei Hu pried open another wooden crate.

...
The expression on Lei Hu’s face grew darker and darker.
He had been willing to risk his shelter being discovered to launch this operation for one reason: the power armor inside this warehouse. Not this pile of white and green junk.
Although the warehouse was full of supplies, they were almost all white- or green-quality. Only a few items were blue.
Never mind the fact that they couldn’t possibly carry everything away on their dozen or so motorcycles; even if they could, everyone on this mission except Lei Hu himself would most likely end up at a loss.
After all, the cost just to open the Teleportation Gate for each person was a whopping 100 blue components.
The sheer quantity of supplies in the warehouse before them was nowhere near enough to cover the costs everyone had paid.
Before the operation, Lei Hu had already reported the situation to everyone in the chat room.
When Lei Hu didn’t appear in the chat room for a long time, the other four leaders thought something had gone wrong with the mission.
Seman was the first to be unable to contain her anxiety, and she asked worriedly:
[Lei Hu, it’s been an hour. What’s your status?]
Seeing Seman’s message, Lei Hu’s expression darkened even further.
