Chapter 797: Another Young Master

6 min read

Tyler and Suzuka followed the waiter to the second floor, where the premium dining area overlooked the bustling streets of Heaven Mist Pavilion. The tables were carved from spirit oak, and a faint fragrance of herbs drifted through the air. Ali naturally followed them with his servant.

Without waiting for an invitation, he sat opposite Tyler, while Suzuka and Hazel took the seats beside Tyler.

As soon as everyone settled down, Ali casually glanced at his servant.

The servant immediately understood.

He quietly walked to another table in the corner of the restaurant and sat down alone.

Everything was proceeding according to plan.

Tyler had already declared that this meal was his treat. The servant’s job was simple—order the most expensive dishes on the menu. When the bill arrived, Tyler would be left speechless.

Or so they thought.

Ali secretly observed Tyler while everyone looked through the menu.

Tyler didn’t even bother checking the prices.

"I’ll have this... this... this one too. Oh, and bring two of these."

Suzuka wasn’t any different.

She calmly ordered several dishes as though they cost nothing.

Ali’s eyelids twitched.

Why do they look so confident?

Even without his servant’s help, the bill was already climbing to an absurd amount.

Could this fellow actually afford it?

While waiting for the food, Tyler casually asked,

"So, Young Master Ali, I’ve been thinking about buying a piece of land in Moon Hawk City."

Ali was slightly surprised.

"You want to buy land here?"

Tyler nodded.

"I’d like to start a small business."

Suzuka, who had just taken a sip of water, nearly spat it out.

’A small business?’ She shot Tyler a look. ’Your definition of ’small’ is completely broken.’

Ali, however, took the question seriously.

"To be honest, buying land in Moon Hawk City isn’t easy. Every inch of Heaven Mist Pavilion is worth a fortune."

He leaned back slightly before continuing.

"Our Ister Family isn’t involved in the real estate business, so I can’t help much. However, most merchants lease their shops instead of buying them. Shops are rarely sold unless the owner has no other choice."

Tyler nodded thoughtfully.

"I see."

Before long, the dishes began arriving one after another.

Golden fried chicken,.Freshly baked meat pies,.Roasted spirit beast ribs, Steaming soup.

Several Western-style dishes Suzuka had never seen before. Because of that her eyes lit up.

The table was soon filled with food.

Hazel didn’t wait for anyone else.

She picked up an entire piece of fried chicken with both hands and happily began eating.

Suzuka could only sigh.

She had long since accepted Hazel’s strange eating habits.

Ali smiled politely.

"Miss Hazel... perhaps you should try using a spoon."

Hazel looked at him blankly.

Then she obediently picked up the spoon.

Instead of using it, however, she opened her mouth and bit down on it.

Clink!

Everyone froze.

Tyler covered his face.

Suzuka immediately grabbed Hazel’s wrist.

"No, Hazel."

She gently took the spoon away which has teeth mark.

"Spoons aren’t food."

Hazel blinked a few times before slowly nodding.

"That’s right." Suzuka smiled with satisfaction before turning towards Ali. "Young Master Ali, please don’t confuse her. Hazel is like a child. If you tell her to use a spoon, she’ll think the spoon is part of the meal."

Ali’s smile froze on his face.

"I... wasn’t trying to—"

Before he could finish, Hazel quietly reached for another spoon.

Tyler reacted even faster this time and moved the entire spoon basket out of her reach.

Ali’s servant watched everything from the corner of the restaurant and silently lowered his head.

"Should I order some take out too?" He was wondering.

After the meal, Tyler casually settled the bill without even glancing at the amount. He didn’t complain about the extra dishes Ali’s servant had secretly ordered for takeout. Instead, he smiled and asked,

"Is that all? If it isn’t enough, feel free to order more."

The servant almost burst into tears.

For the first time in his life, he felt that his own Young Master wasn’t as generous as the person they were trying to trick. He almost switched sides.

Ali noticed his servant’s expression and the corner of his mouth twitched.

Traitor...

Meanwhile, Tyler stood up, stretched lazily and adjusted the dozens of storage bags hanging from his waist.

"Hmmm... I just realized something."

"What?" Suzuka asked.

"Carrying spirit stones around for every transaction is really troublesome."

Suzuka nodded in agreement.

"It is, but that’s how the cultivation world has always been. Spirit stones are accepted everywhere, so nobody has bothered changing it."

"Currency..."

Tyler repeated the word softly.

His thoughts drifted back to Boundless World Lydia. Compared to that, carrying bags of spirit stones everywhere felt incredibly primitive.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

Maybe... there’s another business opportunity.

Just as his thoughts began wandering, a rough voice suddenly echoed through the restaurant.

"Who allowed you to sit here?"

The lively atmosphere instantly quietened.

A burly cultivator strode over with heavy iron gauntlets covering both fists. His fierce gaze swept across Tyler’s table before stopping on Tyler himself.

"This is my Young Master’s favourite seat! Scram!" He shouted.

"We’ve already finished eating. We were just about to leave." Tyler frowned slightly.

"Who asked you to explain?" The burly man snorted.

Ali, who was still sitting nearby, stiffened the moment he saw the newcomer.

’It’s him... If he’s here... then that fellow must have arrived as well.’

Tyler was just about to say something else when the burly cultivator suddenly threw a punch straight at his face.

"So impatient..." Tyler muttered. "Looks like someone wants to make a scene."

Ali’s servant wanted to intervene, but he was seated several tables away. By the time he stood up, it was already too late.

Just as the fist was about to reach Tyler, a fair hand suddenly stretched out and caught the iron gauntlet with one hand. The cultivator’s confident expression instantly froze.

Crack!

Fine cracks spread across the gauntlet under the hand’s grip, producing sharp cracking sounds that made everyone’s scalp tingle.

Ali’s eyes widened, "M-Miss Suzuka...?"

The burly cultivator tried to pull his hand back, only to discover it wouldn’t budge.

His face gradually turned pale.

"L-Let go! Do you know who my Young Master is?"

Suzuka’s expression remained calm.

"Don’t order me."

Her fingers tightened slightly.

More cracks spread across the gauntlet.

The burly cultivator cried out in pain.

With a casual flick of her wrist, Suzuka flung him away as though throwing out a bag of trash.

Bang!

His body smashed through two tables before crashing heavily onto the floor. Plates and bowls shattered everywhere, leaving the entire restaurant deathly silent.

Then a burst of laughter broke the silence.

"Hahaha! Wonderful! What an entertaining sight."

A young man dressed in luxurious robes slowly walked into the restaurant, gently fanning himself with a golden folding fan. Several beautiful women dressed in revealing silk gowns followed closely behind him, their laughter ringing like silver bells.

Ali’s expression immediately became ugly.

"Young Master Yun Feng..."

Tyler looked at the newcomer, then at the golden fan in his hand. After glancing at Ali’s almost identical fan, he couldn’t help but grin.

Another second generation rich guy?

"This is Arrogant Young Master Number Two." For some reason, Tyler suddenly felt that today’s meal had become far more interesting than he had expected.
