The next morning, inside Tyler’s room at the Golden Inn in Heaven Mist Pavilion, Moon Hawk City...A ripple appeared in the air.
Hazel Sky stepped out of the void as though she had merely walked through an invisible door.
Without saying a word, she immediately walked towards the pile of spirit stones stacked in the corner of the room.
Plop.
She sat down on the floor and placed both palms on the spirit stones.
The spiritual energy within them rapidly flowed into her body, causing the pile to shrink at a visible speed.
"Oh... welcome back." Suzuka greeted her with a smile.
Tyler looked at Hazel for a moment before turning to Suzuka.
"Didn’t you go out yesterday?"
Suzuka shook her head.
"No."
Tyler glanced at the untouched bags of spirit stones beside her.
"You didn’t even use these."
She lowered her gaze.
"I didn’t want to use your spirit stones."
Tyler couldn’t help but chuckle.
"I already told you. Think of them as your salary."
"I know..."
Suzuka smiled sheepishly before picking up one of the storage bags.
"Actually, I was thinking of sending these spirit stones to my boyfriend. He’s been spending all his time studying formations and cultivating. He barely has enough resources for himself."
Tyler raised an eyebrow.
"Your boyfriend is a lucky man."
Suzuka’s cheeks turned slightly red.
"I don’t know about that."
She looked towards Hazel, who was still quietly absorbing spirit stones one after another.
A trace of hesitation appeared on her face.
Tyler noticed it immediately.
"You want to borrow Hazel?"
Suzuka quickly waved both hands.
"No, no."
She shook her head so hard that her ponytail swayed from side to side.
"I can’t leave you alone in an unfamiliar city."
"Then?"
"I was just wondering whether Hazel would need more spirit stones."
Tyler glanced at the rapidly shrinking pile.
"At this rate... probably."
"Then I’ll wait until we return to the sect before sending these."
She put the storage bag away without another thought.
Tyler nodded absentmindedly, but his mind had already wandered elsewhere.
Sending items... Those two words echoed repeatedly in his head.
He looked at Hazel Sky, who was quietly devouring spirit stones with her palms.
The mysterious pendant wasn’t merely capable of teleporting people, if he can study this pendant, he can make portable Teleportation like waypoint Terminals from Boundless World.
Tyler’s eyes gradually lit up. He just didn’t have correct materials and technology for Waypoint Terminal.
If his guess was correct, the value of that mysterious pendant was far greater than any teleportation device he had seen before.
It wasn’t simply a transportation artifact.
It had the potential to change the way merchants did business throughout the entire cultivation world.

"This artifact is one of our best sellers, Young Master."
The merchant carefully opened a jade box, revealing a pair of silver feathers.
"They’re called Freedom Wings. Once refined, they’ll manifest as spiritual wings behind your back, allowing you to fly for an hour. They’re most stable within thirty metres of the ground, but if Young Master leaps from a mountain or a tall building first, flying even higher won’t be a problem."
Tyler immediately became interested.
"I’ll take it."
The merchant quickly packed it away before taking out another treasure.
"This robe is woven from Invisible Silk Worm silk. When activated, the robe becomes invisible."
"Only the robe?"
"Yes... only the robe."
Tyler imagined himself standing in the middle of the street wearing nothing but invisible clothes.
"So the one who wore it will be naked?"
The merchant coughed.
"...Technically."
Tyler nodded seriously, he can make his maids wear this.
"I’ll buy it."
The merchant almost laughed out loud. He had expected the young man to lose interest after hearing the drawback.
Instead, he bought it.
Next came a small cloth pouch.
"These are Sweet Candy Seeds. Plant one and water it with spirit spring water. In a month, it’ll grow into a Candy Tree."
"A tree that grows candy?"
"Yes."
"What flavours?"
The merchant smiled proudly.
"All of them."
"I’ll take twenty in each."
For the next half hour, Tyler wandered around the shop while the merchant introduced one treasure after another. A self-heating teapot, a floating folding chair, a lantern that attracted glowing butterflies at night, a brush that wrote by itself and even a spiritual broom that could clean an entire courtyard without its owner lifting a finger.
Tyler bought almost every interesting item he saw.
Watching storage bag after storage bag disappear into Tyler’s sleeves, Suzuka finally sighed.
"Young Master... are you planning to buy this entire shop?"
Tyler looked puzzled.
"No."
Suzuka let out a small breath of relief.
"Just everything inside it."
Suzuka covered her face.
"You really have a shopping problem. I prefer calling it collecting. It’s my habit to have everything in my storage device."
Tyler glanced at the pile of storage bags hanging from his belt.
"Actually... I think I need another storage bag."
"You already have more than fifty."
"Exactly. That’s why I need more."
The merchant’s smile became even brighter.
This Young Master was truly a treasure.
"Do you happen to sell storage rings?" Tyler asked.
"We do."
"The largest one like larger than this shop."
The merchant’s smile froze.
"We... don’t."
Tyler frowned, "What about storage bracelets?"
"No."
"Storage necklaces?"
"No."
"Anything with more space than a storage bag?"
The merchant thought for a moment.
"If Young Master is looking for treasures of that level, try the Heaven Mist Pavilion branch ahead. They occasionally receive rare goods from the Western Continent. You might find what you’re looking for there."
Tyler’s eyes lit up.
"Let’s go."
Before Suzuka could say anything, Tyler had already dragged Hazel out of the shop.
---
The further they walked, the quieter the streets became.
Soon they arrived at a street lined with elegant pink buildings. Red lanterns hung beneath the eaves, flower petals drifted lazily across the stone road and a faint fragrance lingered in the air.
Surprisingly, there wasn’t a single customer.
Tyler looked around curiously.
"Why’s this place empty? Because it’s still morning."
The voice came from a beggar sitting beside the road. He wore tattered clothes and held out a worn straw hat.
"This street only comes alive after sunset."
Tyler blinked.
"There are beggars inside Heaven Mist Pavilion?"
The beggar glared at Tyler and was about to take something, Suzuka almost unsheathed her sword.
The beggar simply pushed the straw hat a little closer.
Realising what he wanted, Tyler awkwardly smiled and dropped a spirit stone into it.
"Thank you, Young Master."
After Tyler and the others left, the beggar crushed the spirit stone between two fingers. The old face slowly melted away, revealing a beautiful young woman underneath.
She disappeared into the shadows and whispered into a communication talisman.
"The target is too handsome to be targeted."
---
"That beggar was suspicious," Suzuka said after they had walked some distance.
Tyler nodded.
"I thought so too. Why a Cultivator is beggar?."
"No." Suzuka shook her head. "I meant the fact that there was a cultivator pretending to be a beggar."
Tyler stopped.
"People actually do that?"
"Some gather information. Some are assassins. Some simply hide from their enemies."
Tyler scratched his cheek, he already knows that. Tyler was suspicious because he clearly saw no shadow under the beggar. It was like it and illusion.
Soon, a magnificent five-storey building came into view.
Just as Tyler was about to enter, a familiar voice called out.
"What a coincidence."
Tyler turned around and smiled, "Oh! Alister!"
The young man’s smile twitched, "It’s Ali Ister."
"Right." Tyler nodded. "Alister."
Ignoring him, Ali looked towards Hazel.
"Miss, I could’ve sworn I saw a missing poster that looked just like you yesterday. Strange... they all disappeared overnight."
Hazel paid him no attention.
She was crouching beside the road, watching a line of ants march across the pavement.
Ali awkwardly cleared his throat.
"What are you looking at, Miss Hazel"
"Probably the joke content you tried to make," Suzuka replied.
Ali’s smile stiffened.
"Miss Suzuka... are you jealous because I greeted her first?"
Suzuka immediately hid behind Tyler with a look of disgust.
Ali’s servant silently lowered his head.
Young Master... please stop embarrassing yourself.
At that moment, Hazel reached down and picked up one of the ants. She was about to put it into her mouth.
Tyler quickly caught her wrist.
"No." Hazel looked at him in confusion. "We don’t eat ants."
After a brief pause, Hazel quietly put it back on the ground.
Tyler sighed in relief.
"Come on. Let’s eat first."
Ali immediately smiled.
"I know the best restaurant in Heaven Mist Pavilion."
A short walk later, he pointed proudly at a luxurious building.
"This is Heaven Mist Restaurant. They even serve dishes from the Western Continent."
Tyler grinned. "Thanks. You’re actually a nice guy."
He walked inside with Suzuka and Hazel.
Watching them disappear, Ali couldn’t help smiling. "Perfect. Everything is going according to—"
"Young Master," the servant interrupted in a whisper, "you said that out loud."
Ali froze.
After confirming Tyler hadn’t heard him, he let out a long sigh.
"Good." He flicked open his fan. "Come. Today’s plan must succeed."
The servant silently wondered whether that plan would collapse before dessert was even served.
