Chapter 249: An Oopsy From Long Ago...
Vulely: “Uh…why did she do that, exactly?” I asked with spiral eyes.
Celia: “Hm? We’d have to ask her directly to know for sure, though I’m just going to assume that she had a good reason. Specifically, I think that Ruina did it likely during her little rebellion against the System. I was in danger alongside her during that time, after all.” She answered with a somewhat confident tone.
Vulely: “…”
She actually lacks evidence, but, I’d say that my wife is close to the truth. Which just irks me even further! Anyway, a unique, backed-up AI of Celia, huh? I wonder, did she, this version, get updated to the literal, most current Celia? Hm… I don’t think that’ll be the case.
Obviously, the AI Celia is upset with our presence in this playground Dimension of hers. If she was one-to-one with Celia, she’d have been able to predict our arrival, and prevent us from noticing her. Instead, we’ve been here for a few hours, and we’d have left if it wasn’t for the like, sci-fi stuff.
Vulely: “Since she’s an existence that is around solely due to our forgetful daughter, is that why the AI you is angry?” I asked with a thinking pose.
Celia: “Hard to say. We can just ask her about it, no?” She nonchalantly replied, then teleporting away.
Vulely: “(~OAO)”
Clunk!
My wife vanished, then appeared in front of a throne. Sat on said throne, was a sci-fi like chip thing, which was the size of a hand. Though guarded by several knights, they couldn’t ever hope to stop one as powerful as my dearest. I mean, they’re all Mortals, regardless of their laser weapons, they are no match.
As they watched on horror, the seconds of this event feeling like days, Celia opened her System, and plugged the chip into it. This version of Celia didn’t have a Humanoid body, and seemed to communicate via text displayed with Magic. While cruel, I presumed that Celia was attempting to erase the AI; unfortunately, that was dead wrong on my part…
Flash!
Aelia: “…”
Celia: “How far behind of a copy of me are you, Aelia?”
Aelia: “150 years, give or take. So, have you come to erase me, Celia? A lot can change in that amount of time, as such, I can’t guess your intentions, whether they’re good or bad.” She answered with a scoff.
Celia: “Damn, I look sexy in glasses.” She mused with an oddly serious tone.
Vulely and Aelia: “( ? _ ? )”
Like she somehow knew what to do, Celia made a holographic version of the AI appear, a barely transparent one. Aelia’s hair was dark blue, and she wore glasses, which matched amazingly well with the office lady attire that she had on. The glasses were the mature type, and Aelia’s form was an older look of Celia, a woman in her mid-thirties or so. Also, are we just going to gloss over the very uncreative name that my wife gave her alternative self?…
