[Jk: What do lesbians do when they’re having their period?]

The pup’sfur was unbelievably fluffy.

Although it resembled an ordinary saber-toothed tiger cub, its body was noticeably thinner than the other one, almost as though it had been sick since birth.

Andrew examined it quietly. He wasn’t worried in the slightest.

Although he wasn’t certain whether Investment Points could be used on living beings, as they had only worked on objects so far, he still possessed another terrifying ability. EX-Rank Creation.

If the cub truly suffered from a weak bloodline, he could strengthen it. If it lacked talent, he could grant it one. If it needed better nutrition, he could create food of an absurdly high quality to nourish and heal it. No matter what the problem was, Andrew was confident he could solve it.

That was exactly why he had deliberately chosen the weakest cub instead of the strongest one.

After settling the matter, John looked around. "We should rest before moving again." He glanced toward Andrew. "See if you can find somewhere safe."

The others also began observing the surrounding terrain using their hunting experience, searching for places where caves were likely to form.

Andrew activated his Omniscient Perception but couldn’t find a decent place to stay. So they all moved, Andrew constantly scanning for places to rest as they went.

They had walked about six kilometers. Andrew had killed three level 10 to 12 beasts under the vigilance of his team.

A few moments later, his eyes stopped on a distant cliff. "I found a place to stay."

The group followed him. Soon, they arrived before a roaring waterfall. The crashing water concealed the cliff behind it completely.

Andrew walked straight toward the falling water. The others exchanged puzzled glances before following.

Passing through the curtain of water, they were all stunned. Hidden behind the waterfall was the narrow entrance to a cave.

The opening was barely half a meter wide, making it almost impossible to notice from outside.

Yet l, once they squeezed through, the interior expanded dramatically. The cave opened into a spacious chamber large enough to comfortably accommodate the entire group.

Jasmine looked around in amazement. "How did you even find this place?"

The others couldn’t help but wonder the same thing. Hidden beneath a waterfall, it was the perfect place to hide.

...

The cave hidden behind the roaring waterfall was not chosen by chance. Andrew had picked it deliberately.

Ever since his Omniscient Perception detected the massive troop of Iron-Armed Monkeys pursuing them, a thought had lingered in his mind.

They were tracking them by scent.

The monkeys had followed every turn they made despite changing directions multiple times. It was too precise to be coincidence.

A waterfall, with its rushing current, would wash away their scent. The cave concealed behind it would become the perfect hiding place.

Nearly five hundred meters away, the enormous troop of Iron-Armed Monkeys finally arrived.

Andrew’s Omniscient Perception watched every movement. More than a hundred monsters stood among the trees, their muscular bodies covered in dark iron-like fur. Their crimson eyes scanned the surroundings while their leader, a Level 35 Three-Star Elite Iron-Armed Monkey King, stood atop a massive boulder.

The Monkey King sniffed the air. It let out a low growl. The entire troop stopped and they searched the area for several minutes before slowly dispersing in different directions, unable to find the humans’ trail.

Inside the cave, Andrew quietly released the breath he had been holding. It worked. The waterfall had completely erased their scent. At least they had escaped certain death.

Yet his EX-Rank Danger Sense refused to calm down. The faint warning remained at the back of his mind like a needle pricking his instincts.

He frowned slightly.

Something still felt wrong. Unable to determine where the danger came from, he chose to remain silent for the moment.

A bonfire crackled inside the spacious cave. Michael had cleaned the remaining Iron-Fanged Rabbit while Klen expertly prepared the meat.

This time no one complained about eating it.

After all, they had already obtained the corpse of a Level 31 Elite Saber-Toothed Tiger and two priceless cubs. Today’s harvest was beyond anything they had expected.

The rich aroma of roasted meat soon filled the cave. Michael tore off a huge chunk and stuffed it into his mouth. "Hahaha! This is living!"

Andrew laughed as he bit into his own portion.

The meat was surprisingly tender. Juicy. Rich. Far better than any rabbit he had ever eaten.

Klen adjusted his glasses with a faint smile. "I told you my cooking isn’t bad."

John gave him a thumbs-up. "Not bad, not bad at all ."

Even Lucy nodded slightly in agreement.

For a while, the tense atmosphere disappeared.

The six of them sat around the fire like ordinary friends instead of Ultras constantly risking their lives.

Michael soon began boasting. "I’ve fought monsters far stronger than that Saber-Toothed Tiger."

Jasmine rolled her eyes. "Oh?"

Michael puffed out his chest proudly. "There was this Level 38 Tyrant Bear. Three punches! Just three! I sent it flying."

Everyone burst into laughter. "That’s a lie. We were literally there. You ran away first."

Michael scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "You guys didn’t have to expose me in front of the young one."

More laughter erupted throughout the cave. Even Andrew found himself smiling.

Listening to Michael’s exaggerated adventures was unexpectedly entertaining.

For a brief moment, it almost felt like they weren’t inside one of the deadliest dimensional zones in existence.

Then, thud. Jasmine suddenly collapsed sideways as she fell to the ground unconscious. Everyone was stunned by the sudden development.

"Jasmine!" Lucy immediately rushed toward her. "What happened?"

Before anyone could react, Lucy who was moving to Jasmine also collapsed to the ground like a log of wood, her body drifting due to inertia.

Klen eyes widened.

"W-what’s happening?"

He stumbled backward. His face pale before his body collapsed beside the fire.

John’s expression changed drastically. "Poison!" His body swayed violently. "We’ve been poisoned." He attempted to stand but he suddenly fell in his knees with a boom sound as his knees gave out.

Andrew’s face also changed. He staggered two steps before collapsing onto the rocky floor.

Only Michael remained standing. His eyes darted around in confusion. "What happened?"

John slowly lifted his head. His bloodshot eyes landed on Michael. Everyone else had collapsed, he was the only one left standing. It shouldn’t have been possible unless he was the one who poisoned them and had taken the antidote ahead of time.

"You." John’s voice turned incredibly frosty as killing internet spread like a mist.

"It was actually you."
