Quickly, the king’s majestic palace came into view, with four guards stationed at the entrance. Julie immediately recognized them as Eden’s people. Everyone arrived at the entrance side by side, and the guards respectfully saluted, "Greetings, Princess, Captain, and CEO Kingston."

Before Catherine could speak, Eden emerged from somewhere and swiftly approached.

In the transition from darkness to light, Mia’s gaze landed on him. As she discerned his physique and his face, she couldn’t help but hold her breath!

"Greetings, Princess." Eden came forward, courteously saluting, though his voice seemed devoid of emotion.

"Please inform the Duke that we’re here to visit the king today," Catherine’s tone was calm but assertive; she greatly disliked Eden.

Mia quietly took a breath. She nonchalantly withdrew her gaze, though waves stirred in her heart.

Not far inside the palace, Jocelyn had just descended the stairs. As she raised her eyes, she immediately noticed the situation at the palace entrance.

Her heart gave a heavy thump!

Without much deliberation, she swiftly proceeded with light steps towards the king’s chambers!
