"I think we don’t have any cooperative projects, right?" Chloe White, regardless of what she thought in her heart, maintained an elegant smile on her face without any hint of displeasure.
"Of course not," James Reed said with a smile, "I’m starting something new outside, making products, and I think there might be a chance for us to work together."
Saying this, James Reed handed Chloe White a business card: "If Miss White is interested, we can arrange another meeting."
James Reed didn’t intend to close the deal with Chloe White in just one meeting.
After leaving his business card, James Reed didn’t linger much, leaving with a smile.
Chloe White glanced at the business card in her hand, got into the car, and casually placed it aside.
She knew all about James Reed. He’s always been against Charles Seymour. How could she stand on the opposite side of Charles Seymour?
Sophie Wilson took a taxi home by herself. Although Charles Seymour and Jacob Smith both offered to take her, she decided to let the two of them go to the office to discuss business, while she would go on her own.
Otherwise, those two would just keep bickering endlessly.
Watching Sophie Wilson leave in the car, Jacob Smith retracted his gaze and looked at Charles Seymour, asking, "Shall we talk?"
"Sure," Charles Seymour nodded.
In the Peace Group, Charles Seymour and Jacob Smith put aside other thoughts, their capabilities evident, and their efficiency was incredibly high. In less than half an hour, they reached an agreement on the cooperation, had the secretary print out the contract, then signed and sealed it to take effect.
"Why did you think of cooperating with me again?" After signing the contract, Jacob Smith relaxed and asked teasingly.
"Finish the cooperation early so you can go back sooner." Charles Seymour’s words left Jacob Smith shocked, mouth agape, before slamming the table and exclaiming, "Charles Seymour, don’t you think you’re being very crafty?"
"What’s wrong with being crafty towards you?" Charles Seymour looked at Jacob Smith in confusion. Asking such a pointless question, he really hadn’t changed a bit over the years.
Jacob Smith felt frustrated, talking to Charles Seymour was only inviting trouble for himself.
Sophie Wilson had barely returned home and hadn’t rested for long before her phone rang. Seeing the caller ID, she smiled and picked up: "Julian Campbell, what’s up?"
"Aunt Sophie..." Julian Campbell hesitated before asking, "My Uncle wants to teach me business, Aunt Sophie, do you know about this?"
"I know." Sophie Wilson laughed and said, then cautiously asked again, "Julian, did you enter the entertainment industry because it’s your dream?"
"Well, sort of." Julian Campbell was a little embarrassed, "I was discovered by my family’s agent at the time, and then I signed a contract to debut. I like it, sure, but to say it’s an unshakable dream, not really."
"That’s perfect." Sophie Wilson laughed and said, "You can just come over and take over Seymour Corporation, that way your Uncle won’t have to worry."
"Aunt Sophie, actually..."
"Don’t worry, neither I nor your Uncle have any intentions of fighting over Seymour Corporation. If you inherit Seymour Corporation, you can eventually cooperate with your Uncle, which will make your path a bit smoother in the future." Sophie Wilson could immediately sense Julian’s hesitation.
"What era are we in? You can’t just be held back by a surname."
Sophie Wilson’s words made Julian Campbell laugh: "Then I’m relieved. After I finish my current work, I’ll go back and learn properly from Uncle."
