Sophie Wilson was unaffected, but Ethan Seymour’s mood was very bad when he saw Sophie Wilson sitting on the sofa!
"What are you doing here?" Ethan Seymour questioned with irritation.
"What nonsense are you talking about?" Old Mr. Seymour angrily rebuked, "Why can’t Sophie be here?"
"Dad." Ethan felt aggrieved, his own father was biased towards that little brat, did he even consider him his son?
"What are you doing here? If there’s nothing, then leave, don’t be an eyesore here." Old Mr. Seymour knew that if Ethan was here, it wasn’t good news.
Soon Charles would be coming over, and if he saw Ethan, it would ruin his grandson’s good mood.
"Is Charles coming over later?" Ethan ignored Old Mr. Seymour and instead asked Sophie Wilson.
"What does it matter to you whether Charles is coming or not? Go, go, go!" Old Mr. Seymour impatiently waved his hand, shooing Ethan away.
"Dad, you can’t chase away your useless son just because Charles and Sophie are useful, can you?" Ethan’s words infuriated Old Mr. Seymour.
"You bastard, what are you talking about?" Old Mr. Seymour’s eyes widened, wishing he could kick him to death.
Is this how you talk to your own father?
Since when was he someone who valued profit so highly?
He had lived a life of integrity, despising those who sought to curry favor, so how did he become such a person according to Ethan?
"Grandpa, don’t get angry." Sophie Wilson hurriedly patted Old Mr. Seymour’s back to help him calm down, "When someone has a dirty mind, naturally they see everything as dirty as themselves."
"If it weren’t that way, wouldn’t it make them look too vile?" Sophie Wilson’s words provoked Ethan into cursing, "Sophie Wilson, is this how you treat your elders?"
"Elder? Who?" Sophie Wilson chuckled as she looked at Ethan and asked.
"I’m Charles Seymour’s father! Are you denying this fact?" Ethan angrily questioned.
"I’m not denying it." Sophie replied straightforwardly.
"As long as you don’t deny it, in the future, you should have the proper attitude towards elders." Ethan lectured Sophie Wilson.
"Do you have the right to lecture Sophie? You are Charles’ father, but have you fulfilled the role of a father?" An always silent Old Mrs. Seymour couldn’t hold back and directly scolded, "You yourself don’t act like an elder, yet you want the younger generation to respect you, do you deserve it?"
"Mom, why are you siding with outsiders?" Ethan felt that his parents had been brainwashed by Charles, otherwise why would they always favor that little brat and make things difficult for his own son?
Sophie Wilson gripped Old Mrs. Seymour’s hand and advised, "Grandma, leave this matter to me, don’t get upset."
Old people getting upset easily leads to illness, it’s not worth it for someone like Ethan.
"Elders? The old man of the Wilson Clan is still my grandpa, and I don’t even consider them my elders." Sophie snorted at Ethan, "I don’t even acknowledge my father’s father, let alone you, who is just Mr. Seymour’s father. Why should I acknowledge you? Do you think you’re special, with a greater seniority than my father’s father?"
"You... have no respect for your elders!" Ethan was so angry that he could only squeeze out this sentence.
"Yeah, so what?" Sophie Wilson nonchalantly retorted, making Ethan’s face turn blue with anger, "Does Mr. Nelson know you’re like this?"
