The spider crawled out of prison, the spider took the elevator, the spider came to the public area, the spider whispered softly,
"Brother Xuantian, be sure to hide well. If discovered, we’ll face consequences."
Tie Dan questioned,
"What? You knew I secretly followed you out?"
The spider whispered,
"Yes and also no, you followed my silk and came over, now still residing on the web, naturally I would know.
But my web is quite solid; as long as you just observe and don’t communicate, it’s okay."
Given this, Tie Dan simply asked,
"What’s with these corpses? Did you all slaughter Earth?"
The spider scratched its head with its mandibles, seemingly puzzled by Tie Dan’s apparent question.
"Corpses? What corpses? Are you referring to the Eternal Rose Garden?
Oh, I understand. You’re still trapped in the nightmare woven by humanity, suffering the torment of samsara?
Don’t worry, just join the Legion, and you can block quantum entanglement and awaken from the real world."
What is the Eternal Rose Garden?
What is the nightmare woven by humanity?
What does awakening from reality mean?
Tie Dan asked this, but the spider didn’t answer because it was seized midway by two dinosaurs.
Uh, not a metaphor, actual dinosaurs, dragon-headed humanoids, resembling upright lizardmen, with dinosaur heads above the neck, certainly not a helmet or mask, a genuine biological head. Below the neck was a person in military uniform, complete with rank and insignia, with the air of a military police brigade, completely two monsters.
Seeing these two uniformed lizardmen, the spider immediately became tense, its fur stood on end, and it severed the silk, interrupted the Primordial Spirit communication, shielding all of Tie Dan’s senses, directly transforming telekinesis into a web, like wrapping his Primordial Spirit in a cocoon and launching it away.
In that instant, all Tie Dan felt was the thread in his hand suddenly snapping, as if he had fallen into an abyss, unable to sense the location of the other at all, nor could he use Divine Sense waves to probe the outside world. However, similarly, when those dinosaurs shone bright Divine Light on the spider like a strong wind, the powerful Divine Sense field sweeping over couldn’t detect the spider either.
Well, indeed, within All Heavens and Myriads of Worlds, nothing is impossible; the Taihao Clan certainly deserves a place in the company’s collection despite their horrifying appearance and frail bodies like cumbersome crabs walking, their skill with Divine Sense has some method, the Primordial Spirit Technique’s mastery has already surpassed Tie Dan’s ability to discern and comprehend easily, with familiarity and proficiency.
And not just the bald-headed spider, even random lizardmen encountered have considerable Primordial Spirit Technique, evidently over the past five hundred years, with exotic avian beasts rushing in from All Heavens and Myriads of Worlds, the Primordial Spirit Technique has developed to an unimaginably high level.
Tie Dan was trapped for quite a while, working hard to unravel the spider webs and break free from the Primordial Spirit web’s binding, struggling to escape, by then the Taihao Spider had long been taken away by the two dinosaurs, its whereabouts unknown. Considering the spider’s previously peculiar rhetoric, Tie Dan wasn’t hurried to strike immediately, instead idly wandering the Titan.
He draped the web strands he had unraveled like a cloak over his shoulders, ready to turn invisible at any time. Tie Dan began coordinating various frequencies of Primordial Spirit Echo, illuminating surroundings, probing what secrets are hidden beneath this blood and gore facade, searching for the whereabouts of the so-called Rose Garden mentioned by the spider.
Set amidst this hellish nightmare painted in grotesque features, all he saw were bizarre demons and monsters, likely beyond the mental endurance of an average person, those lacking stability might lose their Daoist Heart and go berserk. However, luckily, Tie Dan was well-fed and idle, able to maintain composure for the moment and being accustomed to such scenes of Corpse Mountain and Blood Sea, a common occurrence in Taiji Heaven, he wasn’t surprised, scanning around for a while.
Dare I say, upon closer examination, he did indeed spot quite a few things.
First, evidently, Legion members aren’t of a singular kind but hail from the Multi-universe, an expanse of worlds, consisting of various Spider-men, Lizard-men, Bald-headed men, Dog-headed men, and Bird-men, all somewhat resembling humans but definitely monstrous demons.
Yet these Legion members aren’t uncultured beastly brutes, each having undergone considerable education, at least knowing how to operate mechas and Titans, demonstrating civility and good manners.
Though they appear bizarre, the lifestyle habits of Legion beings are actually akin to humans, mainly living according to ranks, dimensions, and species, except for Taihao Spider being exterminated needing mixed living, others have their own tribes and territories.
Interestingly, the Legion actively cleans up, sweeping away flesh and gore, clearing clean spaces in dorms to maintain a tidy environment, unlike the uninformed monsters of Taiji Heaven who don’t even know how to wear underwear.
Clearly, it’s apparent: the Legion’s living environment resembles Corpse Camel Ridge scenery, not because they love grotesque flesh and gore aesthetics, it’s likely that this Titan naturally formed this way.
If Tie Dan wasn’t mistaken, like the Taixu Shrimp raised on Mo Mountain, the Legion’s Titan is actually ’alive’; but unlike shrimp, the flesh isn’t the warship’s body, nor a Host, perhaps more akin to Earth Mother Fungus, no, maybe more like Mo Mountain People.
