Chapter 1328: 639: Tai Hao Spider Master_3

Goodness, they said the dormitory swap is because...

"Wait, other people? Do you mean those bald-headed witches?"

Tie Dan couldn’t help but wonder what kind of roommates would make this guy willingly swap his dorm to the Vengeance House.

The Spider shook its head,

"No, no, we are only first-class soldiers, not eligible to share a dorm with a sergeant. We are first-class soldiers recruited locally.

They are locals here to further their studies in Mecha Driving and Titan Maintenance, yet they are not quite adept at using Primordial Spirit communication.

They’re noisy all day and have to do rituals to honor their leader every cycle, really affecting the quality of sleep."

"Locals, honoring a leader... No, wait, I don’t understand..."

Tie Dan pinched his forehead, snapped his fingers to project the image of a Blood Clothes-dressed Earth Sect Leader wearing a Ghost Face,

"The local corps you mentioned, could they be the Earth God Sect? Is this person the leader they honor?"

The Spider was delighted,

"Yes, yes. I have seen this one, he is the local sergeant."

Tie Dan was furious,

"Oh! A God Sect Leader can be a corps sergeant! And I, the dignified Sword Sect Leader, can only be a slave of the corps?! Do they look down on my Sword Sect!? Huh!?"

The Spider corrected,

"Not a slave of the corps, but a slave of the General."

"How the hell is there a difference!?"

The Spider explained,

"Of course there is, the usage permissions of corps armaments depend on rank, which can only be promoted through merits as determined by the system.

But a slave of a General is considered an extension of the General, can directly borrow the General’s permissions, and obtain the most powerful armaments.

This way, you don’t have to climb ranks like us, one level at a time. Most people aren’t even qualified to be a General’s slave."

Oh, so it’s like exploiting a system glitch... Then wouldn’t no one want to be a slave!

Tie Dan was still dissatisfied, angrily said,

"Go tell them! I can also be a first-class soldier in the corps!"

The Spider corrected,

"Enlisting starts from second-class soldier, you know."

"Second-class soldier then! Let me out! Or I’ll tear this whole Titan ship apart!"

"Oh, I’ll go make a report."

With that, the Spider hopped away cheerfully.

But this time, Tie Dan wasn’t squatting idly. He shone Divine Light from his eight eyes on his forehead, suddenly his Primordial Spirit emerged, and he coordinated the primordial spirit waves, projecting as the signal of a Tai Hao Spider, literally hiding in the Spider’s shadow, followed it through the door.

Indeed, not to mention that he had seen this prison cell layout on a company Titan five hundred years ago, now that Tie Dan has achieved great success in his Divine Skill, with further breakthroughs in the Primordial Spirit Method, it truly couldn’t confine him.

However, explaining it might require an entire thesis, so I won’t elaborate here.

In any case, now over five hundred years old, Tie Dan has outgrown the impulsive stage where he kills on sight, and patience is within his grasp.

So he adhered to the view that listening to different opinions enlightens one’s mind, and decided to follow the Spider for a round outside. To check what the corps situation actually was and whether that General truly sought trouble or if this guy was misleading him with its eight eyes.

Unexpectedly, what he saw stunned him—holy crap, it was literally a hellish landscape outside.

No, calling it Hell is conservative, compared to this, the Mo Mountain Colonial Ship is pure Paradise.

Yes, though Mo Mountain has its fair share of meat and bugs, which Tie Dan isn’t fond of, he had to admit their ecosystem was handled rather well. Natural oxygen bars with fresh air—it’s evident that the Master there fostered a healthily natural environment, which happens to include insects as a personal interest.

The scene with the corps, however, was truly hellish, completely akin to an eighteenth level hell.

First, regarding the entire structure, there’s no doubt this is the Titan Ship interior Chen Xuantian once witnessed, a vivid depiction of corporate industrial-style giants—straight out of a sci-fi film landscape.

But the current view is like an oil painting overlaying this sci-fi scene straight with a layer of skin, a splash of blood, blood vessels crawling all over the walls.

It was full of vine-like blood vessels and fascia, thorn-bramble-like dismembered limbs, and mountainous piles of skeletal remains.

Dismembered bones, stripped flesh, drained juices, minced and pulped remains—like a slaughterhouse kitchen, mixed human remnants of all kinds with a true living depiction of human hell described in cult horror films.

Well, thought earlier that spooky look of the prison was caused by Vengeance, even punched it hard first, but turns out it wasn’t its fault at all. Turns out this is just the way their interior design is...
