"Right now, there are three paths. Of course, I have to choose the strongest one!"
Andre closed his eyes and thought for a long time before making his decision.
’Whether or not I’ll succeed is a secondary concern. The important thing is to start walking the path.’
’Those Wizard Influences are unwilling to spare the resources to experiment with the Chaos Wizard path, but that doesn’t matter for me!’
’My deceased ancestor left behind quite a lot of things.’
’Combined with my own Bloodline, I can significantly reduce the resource consumption. I just need to continuously increase the concentration of my Divine Blood, and my body, Soul, and Spiritual Power will keep getting stronger.’
’And as for the Potions needed to enhance my Bloodline, they aren’t too difficult for me to acquire.’
’Besides, even if I fail, I can always fall back on my second-best option: forging the Ladder of Truth anew with my Thunder Element Talent.’
’Before the Ladder of Truth is forged, anything can be changed.’
After making his decision, Andre took out a notebook from under the table and wrote down his advantages.
After he finished writing, a strange expression appeared on Andre’s face.
A deceased ancestor who left behind a massive inheritance.
’My Eye of Truth, Magic Perception, and Light of Insight allow me to perceive changes in Magic Power.’
’My reawakened Divine Blood will strengthen my body.’
’My dedicated studies in Demon Pattern Study and Pharmacy will allow me to precisely grasp every change within my body.’
’And then there’s the most important point: the System.’
’The System is my ultimate advantage, the true source of my confidence in walking the path of a Chaos Wizard.’
’Besides helping me when I face difficulties, it can also help me hide the Chaos Meditation Technique, preventing me from degenerating into the Bottomless Abyss like that Truth Great Wizard.’
Andre was quite confident about this.
’If the System can even lock away the aura of my Divine Blood, it can definitely lock away the aura of my Meditation Technique too!’
After writing the last word, Andre glanced over it. With just that one look, he felt he was perfectly suited to walk the path of a Chaos Wizard.
"Hiss!" Andre furrowed his brow, staring at the contents of his notebook.
’All these conditions combined... there’s probably no one more suitable than me.’
But aside from the physical conditions, there was one more requirement that he was missing.
The Meditation Technique. Without the Chaos Meditation Technique, he couldn’t convert the Magic Power he absorbed into Chaos Magic Power.
And without Chaos Magic Power, there would be trouble when it came time to forge the Ladder of Truth.
"Looks like I need to speed up the rate at which I accumulate Truth."

’Is 1,000% enough?’
Andre looked at the amount of Truth in the system, a flicker of doubt in his eyes.
But fortunately, he wasn’t in a hurry to use it. His primary goal right now was to increase the concentration of his Divine Blood, which in turn would enhance his body, Soul, and Spiritual Power.
Once his body, Soul, and Spiritual Power met the requirements, the Truth accumulated in the system would probably be close to 1,000%.
That would be the time for him to become a Chaos Wizard.
’Taking that first step, from zero to one, is always the hardest part!’
Andre continued to flip through books related to Chaos.
Andre didn’t close his book until the sun was about to set. He then walked out of the Wizard Inheritance Hall and flew toward the target of his current mission: the Water Rhino.
In the early morning, Andre arrived at the mission location and began searching for any sign of the Water Rhino.
Before long, Andre spotted his target.
This time, his objective was to take the Water Rhino’s horn.
Andre landed and looked at the Water Rhino that had just scrambled to its feet. He pressed both his hands to the ground.
"Earth and Stone Manipulation!" As the Witchcraft activated, a mass of earth and stone formed into earthen spears, trapping the Water Rhino in the middle.
The Water Rhino was startled by the sudden attack. With a stomp of its front hoof, it crushed the earthen spears into dust.
But this was exactly what Andre wanted.
"Flame Scroll!" While the Water Rhino was busy shattering the surrounding earthen spears, Andre took out a wooden board, carved a Witchcraft Curse Seal onto it, and then shattered it, tossing the fragments forward.
A tornado of fire enveloped the Water Rhino.
The Water Rhino sensed something was wrong. It let out a roar and tried to break through the tornado’s barrier to charge into a nearby pool of water.
But it was too late. Seeing that the Flame Scroll had immobilized the Water Rhino, Andre immediately carved out a Frostfire Blade and sliced off the horn on the Water Rhino’s head.
The very instant the horn hit the ground, the Water Rhino broke through the fiery tornado and ran straight into the pool.
"Whew, that was pretty easy!"
Andre activated his Multiple Wings of the Wind and flew over, snatching the horn from the ground before heading back toward the academy.
He left the Water Rhino to pop its head out of the pool, staring at the little thief who had stolen its horn in a fit of impotent rage.
"This mission was pretty easy!"
Andre looked at the horn in his hand and nodded with satisfaction.
After he turned in the part of the horn required for the mission, the rest of it would be just enough to concoct the Potion to enhance his Bloodline.
’After I finish this task, I still have to complete those custom orders from the market.’
Andre suddenly remembered the custom orders he had accepted at the market.
He had been so engrossed in observing the natural Demon Patterns within the Magic Plants that he had completely forgotten about them.
Now that he remembered, Andre accelerated toward the academy.
The moon rose. Andre returned to the academy and rested for the night.
The next day, he began to concoct the Potion.
"So busy?" Andre had just thrown the Magic Plants into the grinder.
A figure appeared at the door to his room.
"What is it?" Andre glanced at Farrete.
This was the first time Farrete had come to see him since being sent away by Radak.
"It’s nothing!" Farrete’s eyes widened instantly as he stared at the room full of precious Magic Plants.
"If it’s nothing, why would you come here? Spit it out."
Andre paused what he was doing. Ever since the incident with Kasanti, the busiest people in the academy, aside from the few vice deans, had been Farrete.
The vice deans were busy because the Official Wizards behind the victims were coming to them in tears.
As vice deans, they had to manage the emotions of these Official Wizards. In the past, they couldn’t have been bothered with such matters.
’If you can’t even look after your own things, what’s the point of coming to us now? What can we do?’
But things were different now. An expedition was imminent, and they needed these Official Wizards to contribute their strength. Therefore, some placating was necessary.
Whether it was actually effective was another matter entirely.
Farrete’s situation was different. He was now the head of the Law Enforcement Court and had to reduce the chances of another incident like Kasanti’s to an absolute minimum.
If a few more incidents like that occurred, he could forget about being the head. Being surrounded day after day by people demanding he solve their cases would be more than enough to drive him crazy.
Farrete looked at Andre and raised an eyebrow. Then, he took out a few items from his Storage Ring.
