Chapter 811: Hazel’s strength

8 min read

Inside the Pink Street Brothel, Chu Yang stood beside a table with a strange expression on his face. In his hands was a small cauldron filled with thick black liquid. Floating peacefully inside the concoction was a shining short sword, its blade gleaming faintly beneath the spiritual lamp. Chu Yang stared at it for several breaths before looking toward Tyler.

"Young Master Tyler... what is this?"

Tyler glanced at the cauldron and answered casually, "That’s your ancient sword."

Chu Yang’s eyebrows twitched.

"My ancient sword?"

He looked down again.

"Why is it so small?"

Before Tyler could answer, the little sword suddenly trembled.

"Yaaawn..."

A long, lazy yawn came from the sword as its blade slowly rose out of the black liquid. It floated into the air, swaying from side to side as though it had just woken from a deep sleep.

"Ah... What? It’s Chu Yang?"

The sword’s voice was still filled with sleepiness.

"Where is Young Master Tyler?"

It looked around before muttering, "I’ll come back after one year, okay?"

The sword immediately turned around and floated toward Tyler.

Chu Yang’s face darkened.

"Wait!"

He reached out and caught the sword.

"You traitor! Did you sell your body for luxury?"

"Ah..."

The sword finally seemed to wake up.

After a brief silence, it gave an awkward buzz.

"I was only joking. Hehe..."

The sword attempted to make what it apparently considered a cute laugh.

"Tehe."

A strange chill passed through the room.

Both Tyler and Chu Yang felt goosebumps rise on their skin.

Chu Yang stared at the sword in his hand.

"Don’t ever do that again."

"I was trying to be cute!"

"You failed."

The sword fell silent.

Tyler couldn’t help laughing.

"Looks like the sword has quite a few things to explain to you. You two can have a proper conversation in your room."

Chu Yang nodded. He grabbed the sword and left, his expression still somewhat suspicious.

Once he had gone, Tyler turned toward Hazel.

"Where is Suzuka?"

Hazel stood there silently, chewing on a spirit stone. Her expression remained completely blank, as usual.

After a moment, something seemed to occur to her.

She disappeared.

Tyler waited.

A few breaths later, space suddenly distorted beside him.

Hazel reappeared.

Suzuka appeared with her.

Tyler’s eyes widened.

Suzuka was still in the middle of bathing, and her expression was one of complete shock.

"Ahhhhh!"

Her scream echoed throughout the room.

Several minutes later, the situation had finally been sorted out.

Hazel was kneeling on the floor with both hands raised above her head. Her expression remained completely emotionless, as though nothing unusual had happened.

Suzuka, now properly dressed, glared at Tyler.

Tyler raised both hands defensively.

"I barely saw anything."

"I didn’t ask!"

Suzuka’s face immediately turned red.

Tyler wisely decided not to continue that topic.

"Alright. We’ve finished all the side quests. Now let’s get back to our main objective."

He looked toward Suzuka.

"We need to build the Sky Tower here."

Suzuka’s expression became slightly complicated.

"There is something you should know."

"What?"

"In this city, the only large area currently available for purchase is this entire Pink Street."

Tyler raised an eyebrow.

"The entire street?"

Suzuka nodded.

"But there’s a condition. The Heaven Mist Pavilion has specifically stated that this area can only be used for adult entertainment."

Tyler was silent for a moment.

Then he shrugged.

"Oh."

Suzuka waited for his reaction.

Tyler simply waved his hand.

"Never mind. Buy it."

Suzuka had expected exactly that response.

She nodded.

"Then how much land should we purchase?"

Tyler looked at her.

"You said the whole street is for sale, right?"

Suzuka froze.

She slowly nodded.

"Yes."

"Then buy all of it."

Suzuka’s mouth twitched.

Tyler’s eyes gleamed.

"If this place is already restricted to entertainment, then there’s no reason to leave any of it unused."

He turned toward the enormous street outside.

"We’ll build something here that will make the entire city remember the name."

He paused, then smiled.

"I’ll build a Pink Entertainment Tower."

Suzuka stared at him for several breaths.

She already had a bad feeling about what kind of ridiculous establishment Tyler was about to create.

But judging from his expression...

It was probably going to become one of the most extravagant buildings in the entire city.

After Suzuka left, Tyler finally relaxed and let Hazel return to eating her spirit stones. The special corpse sat quietly nearby, munching on the stones as though they were nothing more than snacks.

Not long after, Chu Yang returned.

Tyler glanced at him and smiled. "Did you have your talk?"

Chu Yang immediately cupped his fists and bowed deeply. "Thank you, Young Master Tyler. Although this ancient sword is an extremely precious treasure, you still kept your word and returned it to me. Not only that, you even restored it to its original state. I truly don’t know how I can repay you."

Tyler waved his hand dismissively. "I was only conducting an experiment and studying the sword. You don’t need to worry about repaying me."

Chu Yang was slightly taken aback. After a moment, he smiled bitterly. "That is precisely the problem. Other than this sword, I really have nothing of value to offer you. For certain personal reasons, even my life no longer truly belongs to me. If I have an opportunity in the future, I will definitely repay this favor."

"We’ll talk about that in the future."

Tyler stood up and shook his hand before pointing toward Hazel.

"You already know about her ability, right? Just imagine the place you want to go. She can take you there."

Tyler paused and added seriously, "But don’t imagine leaving the continent or anything too ridiculous. She has limits."

Hazel walked toward Chu Yang without saying anything. She extended one hand toward him while continuing to munch on a spirit stone with the other.

Chu Yang’s face immediately turned red.

He hesitated before finally reaching out and holding her hand.

Tyler watched the scene and clicked his tongue.

"Tsk... Virgin."

Chu Yang’s face became even redder.

Before he could say anything, Hazel’s fingers suddenly tightened around his palm.

"Ouch!"

Chu Yang’s expression changed.

He felt as though an iron clamp had closed around his hand.

Hazel did not react. She simply continued chewing her spirit stone.

The next moment, space around the two of them distorted.

They disappeared.

Tyler stood there waiting.

A few moments later, space fluctuated once again.

Hazel returned.

However, she was no longer holding Chu Yang.

She was holding an arm.

Tyler stared at the severed arm in her hand.

He was silent for several breaths.

Then he sighed.

"Fortunately, that’s not Chu Yang’s hand."

He took a step backward.

"I’ll pretend I didn’t see that."

---

Meanwhile, in another distant location, a group of cultivators had surrounded two young people.

"Hahaha! You two might not know this yet, but your father is already dead. No one is coming to save you."

The two young people were Chu Kang and Chu Yin.

Both had been restrained by a strange spell, leaving them unable to move.

The cultivator standing before them laughed arrogantly before his gaze shifted toward Chu Yin. His eyes contained an undisguised and disgusting desire.

"Hehe... I’ve wanted to do this for a long time."

He slowly extended his hand toward her.

Chu Yin’s body trembled.

There was no way for her to resist.

She slowly closed her eyes in despair.

"Senior Brother Chu Yang..."

The moment those words left her mouth, the space beside them suddenly distorted.

A figure appeared.

It was Chu Yang.

Hazel stood beside him.

"Ah!"

A scream immediately followed.

The cultivator who had been reaching toward Chu Yin jumped backward in shock.

His face turned pale.

"C-Chu Yang?!"

In his panic, his arm accidentally knocked the spirit stones Hazel had been eating.

The stones scattered across the ground.

Hazel’s head slowly turned.

She looked at the spirit stones.

Then she looked at the cultivator.

The cultivator suddenly felt an inexplicable chill run down his spine.

Chu Yang, meanwhile, glanced around and smiled.

"Ah... As expected, Senior Brother and Junior Sister, you really are here."

The cultivator’s expression became ferocious.

"Die!"

He gathered the spiritual energy in his body, and blazing flames instantly condensed around his fist. With a furious roar, he punched directly toward Chu Yang.

"Be careful, Junior Brother Chu Yang!" Chu Kang shouted.

Bang!

The fist stopped.

Hazel had caught it.

The cultivator’s pupils contracted.

He felt as though his fist had struck a mountain covered in cotton. No matter how much strength he exerted, Hazel did not move even an inch.

She merely looked at the fist in her hand.

Then she casually shook her arm.

"Ahhhh!"

A miserable scream immediately rang out.

The cultivator’s arm was torn apart as easily as rotten cloth.

Blood splattered across the ground.

Everyone present froze.

The entire exchange had happened too quickly.

From the moment the punch was thrown until the arm was ripped away, not even a breath had passed.

Hazel looked at the severed arm in her hand.

Then she glanced toward the scattered spirit stones.

She silently picked them up.

Finally, she turned toward Chu Yang.

The special corpse extended her remaining hand.

Chu Yang understood immediately, "This is my stop."

Hazel nodded. Space distorted once again.

In the blink of an eye, the she disappeared leaving behind the stunned Chu Yang , Chu Kang, Chu Yin, and the cultivators who had not yet recovered from what had happened.

The wounded cultivator stared at the empty space where Hazel had disappeared.
