Chapter 1329: Aren’t You Afraid I’ll Max Out Your Card?

4 min read

Scarlett Yates furrowed her brows even tighter, glaring at him: "I don’t know what else Young Master Saxon wants, but if there’s something, hurry up and say it. Once you’re done, let me leave. I’m really, really tired."Her face was full of impatience and her eyes were filled with anger. Her hands were clenched tightly, as if she wished she could punch him right in the face.

She was in a bad mood now, so any extreme behavior wouldn’t surprise Maxwell Saxon.

In fact, if she remained calm all the time, that would be unusual.

"Scarlett, I won’t be able to accompany you for the next two days. Tomorrow, I’ll be going to another city with your dad for business, no more than five days, at the earliest two days. Once we’re done with business, I’ll be able to spend a month or two with you, and when I return, we can properly plan our wedding. In the meantime, if you have nothing better to do, you can start contemplating it. If you have any ideas or opinions about our wedding—whether it should be in a Chinese style or a Western style, whether it should be high-profile or low-key, whether to invite friends and family—you can tell me, and everything will follow your opinion."

"As for where to go on the honeymoon, it’s entirely up to you."

"Oh right, I just bought a villa that hasn’t been decorated yet, and I plan to leave the decor to you. You can design it in any style you like. I know you love the sea, so I bought the villa by the beach. Once I return, we’ll go take a look."

"If you don’t like the seaside one, we can look for another place."

"And..." he smiled and took out a wallet from his bag, then brought out a Black Card from the wallet and handed it to her, "take this, it’s my supplementary card. You can use the money inside as you like."

Scarlett Yates stared at the card for a few seconds. Then, she curled her lips, taking the card with a bright smile, examining it closely, looking carefully at both sides before finally lifting her head and smiling at him, "Maxwell Saxon, aren’t you afraid I’ll max out your card?"

Maxwell Saxon chuckled, looking at her indulgently: "What’s mine is yours. Spend it however you like."

Scarlett Yates pulled her lips into a sarcastic smile, the brightness remaining, but her eyes carried a hint of mockery: "Since Young Master Saxon is so generous, I won’t be polite then."

Having said that, she slipped the card into her bag casually.

Seeing her accept his card, Maxwell Saxon’s lips curved upwards with pleasure, his deep black eyes filled with warmth and thick laughter, indulgently saying, "Even though I won’t be around these two days, I’ll call you every day."

Scarlett Yates couldn’t help but furrow her brows slightly.

Maxwell Saxon smiled and continued in a commanding tone: "I’ll call you at eight every night. No matter what you’re doing, you must set aside time for me, you mustn’t ignore my calls."

Such a domineering tone.

Eight in the evening...

By tomorrow eight PM, she’d already be on the private jet heading to Z City, right?

With that in mind, Scarlett Yates’s mood turned cheerful again, not bothering to retort him anymore, she responded softly, then once more tried to open the car door: "Young Master Saxon, can I leave now?"

Having given all his instructions, Maxwell Saxon didn’t force her to stay, and after greeting the young driver with a nod, there was a click, and the car door Scarlett was holding onto opened.

As she jumped out of the car, she heard Maxwell Saxon say goodnight to her.

She just pretended not to hear, and after getting out of the car, she sprinted away quickly, disappearing around a corner in the blink of an eye.
