Chapter 19: Aisha Vs Yor

7 min read

The moment the referee announced the start of the match, Yor tossed a seed onto the arena floor "Treant Summon." The seed glowed with a brilliant green light. Thick roots burst from the ground as a massive Treant rapidly grew before everyone’s eyes, its wooden fists clenching as it let out a deep roar. Without hesitation, the Treant charged at Aisha.

Aisha, who had been nervous moments earlier, slowly closed her eyes and took a deep breath. When she opened them again, her expression had completely changed. She lowered her stance, her fists tightening as she took a martial arts posture.

General Cassius raised an eyebrow. "Her expression changed completely... It’s like she’s a different person. And why is a healer taking a martial arts stance?"

Lincoln’s principal smirked. "She comes from a family that specializes in body strengthening and fist martial arts. She was once considered a prodigy. Unfortunately, she awakened as a healer instead of a combat class, so her family cast her aside. We were the ones who took her in."

"Why are you smiling?" General Cassius said with a grin. "You’re still going to lose." Lincoln’s principal’s smile instantly disappeared as he glared at the General.

Meanwhile, the Treant had already reached Aisha. It swung its enormous fist downward.

Boom!

The arena floor cracked beneath the impact, but Aisha had already sidestepped the attack. She dashed forward, twisted her waist, and unleashed a powerful straight punch.

Bang!

Her fist blasted straight through the Treant’s chest, leaving a massive hole in its trunk.

The audience erupted in shock.

"One punch?!"

"What monstrous strength!"

Aster stared at the arena in disbelief "She’s much stronger than she looks... Maybe I shouldn’t have surrendered. Can Yor actually beat her?"

"This girl is better than I expected," Adrian admitted. Aster looked at him. "Can Yor really win?" Adrian simply stared at him like he said something wrong "What?" Aster asked. From behind them, Alas laughed. "You weren’t there when Yor defeated Shul. Don’t worry... she has some pretty terrifying skills."

In the arena, Yor remained calm. "Nature’s Embrace." Streams of emerald light flowed into the wounded Treant. The massive hole in its chest rapidly regenerated as fresh wood and vines grew together. Without wasting another second, Yor raised her hand again. "Hunter’s Mark of Vitality." Green runes wrapped around the Treant’s body. It grew noticeably larger, its muscles of twisted wood swelling with immense power.

The empowered Treant lunged forward. Its gigantic fist crashed toward Aisha. This time, Aisha crossed both arms and received the attack head on.

Boom!

The tremendous force pushed her backward several meters, leaving her arms trembling from the impact. A warm green aura immediately surrounded her body. The bruises disappeared almost instantly. Instead of confronting the Treant’s strength directly again, Aisha relied on speed. She slipped beneath another heavy swing, stepped around its massive legs, and hammered punches into its torso.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Each strike shattered chunks of wood. The Treant retaliated with sweeping arms and crushing stomps, but its massive body was too slow. Aisha weaved through every attack with precise footwork, countering after every dodge.

Saint Helena’s principal sighed. "This girl is truly unique. I’ve never seen a healer fight like this before." General Cassius nodded "If only she had awakened a combat class... she’d be terrifying."

Aisha’s eyes sharpened. She activated another support skill, strengthening her body as green healing energy surrounded her. Her movements became even faster. Every punch landed before the Treant’s wounds could fully regenerate. Cracks spread across its body.

Bang!

Another punch shattered one arm.

Bang!

Its torso split apart. With one final explosive strike, Aisha punched directly through the Treant’s core.

Boom!

The giant wooden monster exploded into countless broken branches and splinters, leaving nothing behind that could regenerate. The audience burst into thunderous applause. Even Yor clapped with a smile. Breathing heavily, Aisha looked at her opponent "Now surrender."

The crowd cheered even louder. Yor tilted her head in confusion. "Why?" The arena suddenly became silent. "You’ve lost your Treant," Aisha replied. "Without it, you can’t fight me." Yor blinked."What made you think I only have one Treant?"

"...What?"

Yor reached into her storage ring and grabbed a fistful of seeds. She tossed them high into the air. "Treant Summon." Every seed burst with brilliant green light.

One...

Five...

Ten...

Twenty...

Dozens of Treants erupted from the arena floor almost simultaneously. The crowd gasped. But Yor wasn’t finished. "Nature’s Embrace." An overwhelming wave of emerald light swept across the arena. The entire battlefield glowed so brightly that everyone instinctively shielded their eyes.

When the light faded...

The arena had transformed into a forest. Towering Treants stood everywhere, filling nearly every corner of the battlefield.

Silence.

No one could believe what they were seeing. Aster’s mouth hung open. Alas folded his arms and smiled. "See? I told you."

General Cassius burst into laughter "Hahaha! This year my Military College truly recruited some extraordinary talents!" Lincoln’s principal grabbed his head in panic. Meanwhile, Saint Helena’s principal silently observed the battlefield. "They’re talented... but talent alone won’t be enough against us."

Yor looked at the exhausted Aisha "You defeated one Treant despite having a support class. That’s already impressive." She glanced at the army behind her. "But defeating all of these... is impossible."

Aisha’s breathing became heavier. She slowly closed her eyes. Memories flooded into her mind. "A healer? What a disappointment." "The family prodigy awakened a support class!" "Stop training. I’ve already arranged your marriage." Her fists trembled. A surge of determination replaced the pain.

Green healing energy erupted around her body. With a shout, she charged directly into the endless army of Treants.

Bang!

One Treant exploded.

Boom!

Another collapsed.

A heavy fist smashed into her shoulder.

Crack!

She staggered. Healing light instantly restored the damage. She continued forward. Roots wrapped around her legs. She tore free through sheer strength. Branches whipped across her back. She ignored the pain. Treant after Treant fell beneath her fists as she forced her way through the forest of monsters.

Each step became slower than the last. Her breathing turned ragged. Her healing aura gradually faded.

Finally...

She reached Yor.

Only a single step separated them. Aisha raised her trembling fist for one final attack. But before she could throw it, the healing aura around her body shattered into countless green particles.

Her mana was gone. Her vision blurred. Her legs gave out beneath her. She collapsed unconscious at Yor’s feet.

For a moment...

The arena was completely silent.

Then thunderous applause erupted throughout the stadium.

"Aisha!"

"Aisha!"

"Aisha!"

Even Yor looked down at her fallen opponent with genuine respect.

The medical team rushed into the arena and carefully carried Aisha away as the audience continued chanting her name.

The medical team came and carried her with them. Aster looked at her and said luck really doesn’t favour the hard workers, this is another example of it.

One man in the audience watched the entire fight. He called and explained every detail of the fight to someone. And the next scene revealed that someone to be her dad, sitting in a dojo. He let out a sigh. "...My stubborn daughter."

The next scene. "Today’s winner of the first match of Round 1 is Military Martial Art College," the referee announced.

The next match will begin now. The next match between "Broad River Martial Art College Vs Pine Hill Martial Art College."
