Chapter 1326: You Think I’m Gay?

As soon as Xu Haohao thought that her first love might have been gifted to a gay guy, her mood tanked. During dinner she told the butler to open the most expensive bottle of red wine for her. Xu Haohao stared at the whole table of delicious food, but she was the only one there, and a wave of frustration hit her chest.

Feng Huaimu’s house was very empty, and the butler was a man of few words. There was basically no one who would answer her.

A door opening sounded, followed by approaching footsteps, from far to near, like some death-march bugle.

"Haohao? Why did you drink so much?" The man walked to the dining table, casting layer after layer of shadow over it.

He looked at Xu Haohao’s fair, flawless cheeks tinged with a beautiful blush, her eyes hazy and misty. She was lying sideways on the table, and compared to her usual liveliness, she now had an extra touch of feminine allure.

Seeing that Xu Haohao ignored him, Feng Huaimu pulled out the chair beside her and sat down. "Who made you angry?"

"If someone made me angry, what are you going to do about it?"

Feng Huaimu answered, "Then I’ll go deal with him."

Hearing that, the alcohol rushed to Xu Haohao’s head. She shot upright in anger and grabbed Feng Huaimu by the collar. "Then go punch yourself!"

Feng Huaimu’s eyes darkened, his delicate-looking lips moving slightly. "I’m the one who made you angry?"

Feng Huaimu lowered his gaze and reflected for a moment. He didn’t seem to have done anything that could upset her, right?

He’d done everything to the best possible standard; where exactly had he provoked her?

Feng Huaimu leaned his head closer. "I don’t know what I did wrong, but if you say I’m wrong, then I’m wrong. Go ahead and hit me."

That look of his, like he didn’t understand anything and had come home just to be on the receiving end of her temper, instantly blew away all the fire in Xu Haohao’s chest that the alcohol had stirred up.

It was like she was the one bullying him.

Hit him? She had to be willing to, first!

Xu Haohao stared at that face. It didn’t have Mr. Qi’s sharp, commanding aura, but it was like an ink painting, his brows and eyes all clean-cut and very handsome.

Xu Haohao, going all in since she’d already gone this far, leaned in and directly planted a kiss on him.

The thick scent of alcohol poured over, mixed with the girl’s fragrance, and Feng Huaimu instantly froze there on the dining chair.

She dawdled for a while, then finally pulled back, staring at Feng Huaimu’s unchanged face, wanting to speak but stopping. "You... you..."

Riding on the alcohol, Xu Haohao let loose on him. "Feng Huaimu, I suspect you’re gay! Are you gay? Using the excuse of looking for a girlfriend and dating to cover up the fact that you’re gay?"

"I don’t discriminate against homosexuals, I discriminate against those who lie about marriage and scam people like this!"

Feng Huaimu took a long look at Xu Haohao. "You... think I’m gay?"
