"Xiangyi? Are you listening to me?" Mrs. Shannon’s concerned voice repeatedly called out to her, and Cheryl Chew silently let out a long breath of turbid air, "Godmother, there’s something I want to tell you."
She picked up the phone, stood up, and went upstairs, returning to her own bedroom.
"What serious matter does Xiangyi have to tell Godmother?"
