Chapter 115

“Don’t worry. Valtom and the others know when to be discreet.”

His deep, husky voice sent shivers down Seiichirou’s spine. Aresh was under the impression that Seiichirou’s ears were sensitive, but the truth was that it was Aresh’s voice that made him weak in the knees. Seiichirou tried vainly to withstand the sensation, sensing that things would only escalate if Aresh found out what he was feeling.

But then Aresh kissed and nuzzled the tip of his lover’s ear, before adding his tongue to the equation. With Aresh’s breath blowing directly into his ear, Seiichirou could do nothing to hide his trembling shoulders.

“Mmm… Ahhh…”

Seiichirou’s shirt was already long gone. Aresh’s large hands stroked his naked back.

With their bodies pushed together, Seiichirou could feel the telltale sign of Aresh’s arousal through their clothes. His legs trembled; he couldn’t stand up.

“Oh…geez…” He exhaled heavily.

“Hm?”

Resigning himself to what was to come, Seiichirou relaxed his body and entrusted his weight to Aresh. Begrudgingly, he wrapped his arms around the other man’s neck and drew his lips to Aresh’s ears.

“I have work tomorrow, so let’s be reasonable about this, please.”

“All right. I’ll cast a healing spell.”

Then their lips met once more.

When he woke, he was in bed.

His body felt clean, and there was no hint of aches or pain. He did feel slightly dazed, though, which indicated that Aresh had cast a healing spell.

His head was resting not on Aresh’s solid arms but his muscly shoulders. Aresh, still half-asleep himself, noticed Seiichirou stir and opened his eyes.

“…So you’re awake.”

Illuminated by the dim light, Aresh’s naked body looked more erotic but also somehow more youthful than when it was covered by his black uniform. This was Aresh’s unvarnished self, the side he only ever showed to Seiichirou.

Seiichirou searched his mind for what to say, before finally settling on: “…I told you to be reasonable.”

“I cast a healing spell.” They hadn’t agreed on that; it was something he’d added after the fact. “Are you hungry? I can arrange something for you.”

Glancing at the clock in the dimly lit room, Seiichirou realized that it was less than three hours before he normally went to bed.

He shook his head slowly. He wasn’t that hungry, and he certainly didn’t want to create extra work for Milan and Pavel at such a late hour.

Bringing his head from Aresh’s shoulder to his chest, Seiichirou realized that it was much more comfortable and soothing to rest on than Aresh’s arms. Perhaps it had something to do with the amount of muscle, or how it was more relaxed. As Seiichirou snuggled against Aresh’s chest again, Aresh kissed his hair with relish.

Seiichirou decided that now was as good a time as ever to say his piece.

“By the way, Aresh, I’ll be coming home late for a while. I’ve been ordered to guide the Egorovan diplomats around when they arrive in four days.”

“………Excuse me?”

Ah, but still, Seiichirou was thinking all the while, cotton pillows are better.
