INTERMISSION Online Rumors On the Ikebukuro information site IkeNew! Version I.KEBU.KUR.O New Post: A civic group announced they want the Owl of the Peeping Dead movie and anime canceled! Those PC Bloodbags who were already coming out hard against OPD just made a formal announcement. If this picks up momentum, it’s going to end up censoring not just the manga but the movie as well. These Bloodbags are wild. They’re claiming that the Headless Rider, the Night of the Ripper, and even the recent faked group kidnapping were all caused by the influence of anime, movies, and manga—especially OPD. The freakin’ Headless Rider has been in Ikebukuro for over twenty years! So it’s finally come to this. That civic group is famous for being wackos, but they’ve got political connections, too. Let’s just hope this doesn’t lead to new restrictions on artistic expression. The same group previously said that a yakuza movie based in Ikebukuro was “glorifying violent mob groups like the Awakusu-kai” and tried to sue to stop it from being sold. It’s like, which one of us is having trouble distinguishing reality from fiction? (Selected from comments on Twittia) Excerpt from a public speech: “…You see, our children are pure and innocent, and they cannot be expected to know which books and visuals are appropriate for them. Therefore, it falls to sensible adults like us to protect our children from these owls and their deadly ilk. In order to clear the air we breathe in Ikebukuro and take back the public health of our city, we must push for restrictions of certain items being sold in the anime shops and bookstores of Ikebukuro… The lawless individual they call the Headless Rider is clearly motivated by the influence of corrupting video games, and anyone can see that incidents like the street slasher are the effect of violent manga, anime, movies, and music… This WWW group has clearly made a deal with the devil. They are destroying Ikebukuro, and in a sense, they’re even more diabolical than the attacker who continues to inflict damage on our people. WWW has created a story that fills Ikebukuro with corpses, and we must insist that every product bearing this property is confiscated at once. If they will not listen, then the honorable citizens of Ikebukuro must raise their fists and deliver a righteous blow to these preachers of heresy. It may be righteous, but it is not divine. We will fight for ourselves to protect our children’s future and our right to a live in a virtuous, decent Ikebukuro…” Comment from IkeNew! Administrator The PC Bloodbags have gone off theiw wockers again. They may be officiawwy cawed People for the Calm Treatment of Ikebukuro, but this merely abbreviates to P.C.T.I.BUKURO. With ti (chi) meaning “blood” and bukuro meaning “bag,” evewyone just cawws dem PC Bloodbags. You know, if they’re not careful, that part at the end about “delivering a righteous blow” could be seen as a thweat. I mean, not that it’s a stretch to reach that concwusion. It’s scawwy. It’s fweaky! The stweet attackew’s scawwy, but so are the thugs forming up new gangs. God save us aww. Admin: Rira Tailtooth Zaiya That stupid IkeNew guy put my twits in his article without permission again. They won’t listen to whatever you say. Just gotta deal with it. I’ve given up on stopping them. It just pisses me off that he gets affiliate money on his blog. The thing is, IkeNew’s still one of the better ones. I just hate how that stupid admin writes. Wow, look at all those anime nerds getting triggered. This is the perfect chance to mass report any user whining about the civic group and get them kicked off Twittia, right? STFU and die. Well, well, it took less than a minute for the anime avatars to descend upon me lolol This guy sucks. Look, I screenshotted all his past stupid twits. Hmm? Why would you collect all my twits? I’ve reported you for doxing lol Thanks. Huh? OMG he actually did it. I can’t believe he actually reported it. When you report a twit to Twittia, the other person can see your name and address, man. Wait, what? Says here you live in *** Prefecture? They’re famous for their textiles, aren’t they? What do you mean? No way, this can’t be happening! Calm down, Mr. ***. I’ll give you a call later lmao You know, I saw someone I think was the attacker yesterday. They were running away down Kawagoe Highway. Really? I didn’t see anything about that in the news. Hmm. Well, there was someone bleeding from their head at a nearby convenience store. Holy shit. Yeah, there was a guy in a bartender’s getup carrying him off to see a doctor. Bartender…? Was he blond, wearing shades? Uh, yeah. I dunno about the shades, but he was blond. That street attacker’s as good as dead. I gotta wonder what this attacker wants, you know? Just to attack people, right? Nah, it kinda feels like the victims alternate between punks and normal people. Sure it’s not random? If every other person who gets whacked is a thug, it should clean up Ikebukuro pretty quick… I bet the thugs are just being made out to look like the street attacker’s work. The Night of the Ripper was weird like that, too. Over fifty in one night. No way that was just one person’s work… Probably the Dollars, I bet. The Dollars! Remember them? lol If the PC Bloodbags have enough time on their hands to crack down on manga, I wish they’d do something about the actual street gang remnants still kicking around. Dragon Zombie’s been riding a bunch these days… Though a lot get arrested by traffic cops. No Yellow Scarves, though… Are there any color gangs anymore? I think there are a few Blue Squares here and there. They’re sooo behind the times. Can’t they just go away? And the Headless Rider’s back, too. Why don’t we just blame the street attacks and everything on the Dollars? I wonder what the Dollars are doing now? Yeah, it’d be really embarrassing to go around calling yourself “former Dollars”…
