Emilie had reassured us, saying that Gabriel had already helped more than enough by inventing a special formula for powdered magicite and a recovery spell for the mollusks. Now, the entire ogre duke family was going to work towards reviving the aurora pearls.
Emilie said that if her cultivation was successful, she would use some of the pearls to make me a parure—a set of matching jewelry. We also promised that one day we would wear aurora pearls to a soiree together.
