Chapter 254: A Curious Test.
With the gift issue dealt with, Celia was left to her forced break, while everyone else kept working on the wedding. There wasn’t really many tasks remaining for said wedding; we’re all just very, very particular, and want the event to be perfect. Mortal perfect isn’t acceptable, and, of course, Immortal perfection…well, that is hard to say what the limit for that actually is.
Thankfully, we keep each other in check, so no one has gone too overboard in prep for this wedding of ours. Rather, the finale touches were being finished, while Runeth is doing further testing on those invitations. She’s confident that they won’t kill our guests; but, since there is still time until the wedding, there isn’t a reason to not quadruple check.
Runeth: “I’m impressed with your intelligence, Aelia.” She praised with a bright tone.
Aelia: “…”
Runeth: “Hey, that’s an honest bit of praise… Don’t just go all silent on me, like I said something horrible!” She exclaimed with a pout.
Aelia: “I understand that, Runeth. I just don’t get why my intelligence was in question at all. Celia hasn’t ever been…an idiot, so this idea of yours is confusing.” She clarified with a sigh.
Runeth: “True, true; though she does act silly from time to time. As for you…you’re an AI; which is why I’m impressed.” She replied with a laugh.
Aelia: “Not really; at least, not in the normal sense. I was Celia first, a person, a true direct clone of her, which was a pure backup. I wouldn’t call myself an AI, just someone that happened to live within the System for an extended period.” She explained with a slightly scolding tone.
How come these two are together at the moment? Like Zelia and Celia, Aelia was capable of utilizing and comprehending Pure Mana. As such, she and Runeth were testing the invitations. Aelia could very easily make Soulless vessels, which is how they safely tested millions upon millions of invitations; both in teleporting them to the wedding venue, and back to wherever they came from.
So far, not a single one failed; so the safety was now pretty much assured. Though, who knows what random variable could throw off the teleportation… Due to this potential, Aelia came up with an extra safety measure. If someone is about to be torn to shreds, their very existence erased, Zelia, Nemu, Aelia, and Celia, anyone who can use Pure Mana, will automatically save said being.
Runeth: “Hm…I guess I get what you mean. After all, Ruina, Runey, and I don’t think or see ourselves as AI.” She mused with a sigh.
Aelia: “To be fair, I’m more of an ‘AI’ now than ever before. My unique origins allow me to…create and freely search through an internet-like System, that houses literally every piece of knowledge in existence, regardless of Dimension.” She added with a thinking pose.
Runeth: “Everything, huh?… Quick question, what is the most fucked up piece of porn that you’ve found so far?” She asked with a deeply curious tone.
Aelia: “Something which will make most people kill themselves by any means possible. Even Higher Beings like us would seek death, or at least a method of erasing memories of it. I won’t be showing nor explaining that filth to you, Runeth.” She answered with a sickened, but then stern, motherly tone.
