Chapter 199: As One Would Expect, She Couldn't Help... Helping Herself.

Vulely: “???”
The Higher Beings present… weren’t aware of what Celia was feeding to (oddly, Telia already had a different name, you see) her alternative self; though, they very much could feel what it contained. That is to say… my wife was nonchalantly letting Telia consume Soul Crystal after Soul Crystal.
While I was busy rounding up these fools, Celia had, apparently, even given her a System, and a selected bit of memories, all in the hopes that Telia would be greatly helped by them. She had already Evolved into a Goddess, and was now in the process of Evolving into a High Goddess; something that doesn’t yet exist in this time.
Vulely: “D-dear, I said that nothing bad would happen if you met Telia…but I didn’t expect you to give her endless power. There is going to have to be a new phrase coined, one that goes far above the butterfly effect!!!” I exclaimed with deeply regretful tone.
Celia: “It isn’t so extreme, Vulely. Telia isn’t yet part of this, but… I have been noticing an odd itch, and I’ve finally found the cause for it.” She replied with a calm expression, Telia resting on her lap as Celia helped her through the Evolution.
Vulely: “W-what do you mean?” I asked with a confused tone.
Celia: “I am connected to my alternative selves far more than we thought I’d be. Rather, due to my power, I can feel all of them; and the ones who are going through conflictions over their origins…their strong emotions are mine, as well.” She answered with a sigh.
F-fuck… Celia actually has a good reason to do this, then. Getting Telia used to her truth, that of a Pure Mana Being, means that my wife won’t feel bad later. It also now makes sense why this version of Celia already had a unique name.
I guess that, in the end, Celia did have some downsides to gaining supreme power. Telia isn’t that important at the moment, as she hadn’t yet reached the time when this truth was revealed; and the same can be likely said of almost every other alternative Universe versions of Celia.
Vulely: “Ah, so… are you going to find them all, and give those selves of yours help like this?” I asked with a curious tone.
Celia: “No. Only the ones in conflict with themselves, or desperately need assistance. Those in Zelia’s type of position, I mean; versions of me at dead-ends, or are in immense despair.” She clarified with a (half) thinking pose, rubbing Telia’s head gently.
Flash!
After she spoke, Telia finished Evolving. She now looked more unique, a deep red being her new hair and eye color. With that, Celia didn’t have to do anything else for this woman. A High Goddess was…already the most powerful Being (besides Wills, but they’re silent right now, and will be for a long time) around, none could harm or stop Telia now.
Instead of meddling further, we decided that this was enough. Handing her a Storage Ring (since Spatial Magic requires a Higher Evolution to use), one filled with a lot of useful items, including a stash of every type of Soul Crystal; we soon left this Universe behind. One of these days, my wife will actually have no work left to do…
