Chapter 53:
To Have Him in My Grasp

“HE YU, YOU… Get lost… Fuck off!” shouted Xie Qingcheng.

He Yu didn’t fuck off. Instead, he bent down and stared into Xie Qingcheng’s eyes for a long while. Then his hand slid down further to the ice-cold metal buckle of Xie Qingcheng’s belt, which clicked crisply as it was undone.

Xie Qingcheng closed his eyes, a burst of humiliation exploding inside his mind and seeping out through every bit of his body. But the stimulation he felt was still real. His body had fallen under the control of his drug-addled hormones; it no longer belonged to him. Such an extreme yearning for relief was impossible for him to repress.

Meanwhile, He Yu soaked in every single one of Xie Qingcheng’s rare reactions to desire. Each one spurred him on, encouraging him to toy with him even further. Despite his aversion to men’s bodies, he pressed a hand against Xie Qingcheng, then stared into his face and asked him a question, although he knew the answer perfectly well: “Xie-ge, I thought you didn’t care about sex? Why is it that I can feel you pressing against me?”

He Yu bent lower.

Exhaling against Xie Qingcheng’s ear, he murmured, “Not to mention, I’m a man.”

Xie Qingcheng was so furious he wanted to die. “Let go…” he rasped. “Fucking…let go of me…”

He Yu was trying to tease Xie Qingcheng, but he truly wasn’t used to seduction. He let go and bent down to suck the blood off Xie Qingcheng’s lips. Xie Qingcheng forcefully twisted away, causing He Yu’s lips to press against his soft, sweat-soaked earlobe instead. The searing heat made his scalp prickle.

“Why are you avoiding me?” He Yu wrenched Xie Qingcheng’s face back. “It’s not like we haven’t kissed before.” He lowered his head and brought their mouths together once again.

His bloodthirstiness was only a pathological impulse, but at the moment their lips touched, he felt a thrill more pleasurable to him than the metallic scent of blood.

Perhaps it was human nature. When you had some mental obstacle you’d yet to cross, it was like you were faced with a dark forest, the shadows so deep you couldn’t see your own outstretched hand—a place you’d refuse to step into no matter what. But once you took that first step and caught a whiff of the cloying fragrance of the wildflowers within the darkness, those hesitant steps would speed up. You’d think to yourself, So this is what this place is like. There’s nothing to be afraid of. And your previous obstacles wouldn’t feel like they mattered at all.

He Yu had kissed Xie Qingcheng before. But back then, he hadn’t been in a sober state of mind and couldn’t remember too many details. This time, as he sank into the slick, scalding heat of their kiss, he didn’t let go even when the blood was quickly licked away. He kept caressing those soft, alcohol-soaked lips with his own. Xie Qingcheng was such a cold and unyielding person, but his lips were extremely tender. The delicate flesh seemed as if it could melt in his mouth, like berries soaked in wine. He Yu felt a faint current jolt up from the base of his spine, thrilling and prickling with arousal. It was a shame this sensation didn’t last for very long, though, as a sharp pain suddenly lanced through his lip.

“Xie Qingcheng, you bit me?”

He Yu stroked the corner of his mouth—it was bleeding.

Xie Qingcheng’s lips were drenched with crimson. Even the rims of his eyes had gone red, and he was panting so hard he couldn’t speak.

He Yu stared at him for a moment. He looked as if he was going to flare into fury, but he took a sharp turn and gave a cryptic sneer before fearlessly dipping his head to exchange another bloody kiss with Xie Qingcheng.

Xie Qingcheng was truly disoriented. He’d forgotten that He Yu craved blood and didn’t fear any pain, that this would only add fuel to the fire and heighten his excitement.

In their second kiss, the metallic taste of blood filled their mouths. Young people couldn’t help but be overeager with this sort of thing, filled with a potent desire, savage and uncontrollable. He Yu tried to pry open Xie Qingcheng’s teeth during the kiss so he could shove his tongue into his mouth, but of course, Xie Qingcheng refused to let him in, his eyes red as he silently kept his mouth closed. His disgust rose, and after enduring for a while longer, he reached his limit and steeled himself to try to bite He Yu again.

But as soon as he parted his teeth just barely, the boy charged in without the slightest reservation, as though wholly unafraid of his sharp tongue and sharper teeth. Xie Qingcheng was shaking all over with hateful fury, but just as he was about to savage He Yu again, He Yu, as if predicting his next move, picked him up from the sofa and set him on his lap without breaking their kiss.

Xie Qingcheng’s face blanched. He found himself sitting on something solid and scalding hot. He could feel the young man’s sinister, impulsive, still-contained desire even through their clothes.

Xie Qingcheng, a man who’d suffered all sorts of major upheavals throughout his life, who’d stood before the most dangerous surgeries with unparalleled calm and peerless composure, felt so much dread in this moment that his scalp seemed to tighten with it. He couldn’t believe what was happening to him, and in his shock, he forgot to bite He Yu.

He Yu cloyingly explored every centimeter of his mouth, both out of curiosity and the desire to humiliate him to the fullest. By the time Xie Qingcheng escaped from his fog of terror, He Yu had already retreated. But their lips were still very close together, so close the slightest movement would bring them back into contact. Silvery threads of saliva hung between their slick, reddened mouths, hanging on the verge of separation, as if they’d kiss again in the next moment and merge seamlessly back together.

“Xie Qingcheng…” Lashes fluttering, with their foreheads still pressed together, He Yu whispered in a low, hoarse rasp, “Come on, bite me. The harder you bite, the more blood will spill…and the more enjoyable it’ll be for me.”

He turned to press his lips against the throbbing pulse of Xie Qingcheng’s neck, over a wound that he had bitten into the skin in his earlier fit of madness. The blood had yet to dry and stood out stark against Xie Qingcheng’s skin like a red mole. He Yu mouthed over that vulnerable stretch of skin repeatedly, murmuring into it as intimate as a lover’s whisper. “Remember, I’m a psy…cho.”

He Yu grabbed Xie Qingcheng by the waist and thrust his hips upward, listening with absolute satisfaction as Xie Qingcheng cried out in extreme fury laced with hints of fear.

Xie Qingcheng panted breathlessly. On the one hand, this type of sexual contact felt very pleasurable; regardless of whether it was moral, or with someone of the same sex, being drugged with an aphrodisiac made him desperate for release. But at the same time, he could still grasp at the final wisp of his rationality. He ground out, his voice hoarse, “He Yu, let go. If you do this, I’ll…”

“You’ll what? Tell Xie Xue? Do you want me to break the news on your behalf? Let her know that her godlike gege is currently being pinned beneath her student, being kissed and caressed, about to get fucked all night long…”

His words struck through Xie Qingcheng’s disorientation like a bolt of lightning. The last hints of color drained from his face.

“No? Then perhaps the police? It’s not like I forced you into this. You were the one who drank that liquor and couldn’t handle the effects. It’s just intoxicated misbehavior; do you really think they’ll do anything? At most, we’ll end up making tabloid headlines. I have no sense of shame. I don’t care. But I wonder how those students of yours will look at you when you stand at the lectern in the future, Professor Xie.”
