This completed BL work is an exercise in brevity, attempting to pack a wide array of tropes—from rural farming to urban cheating—into a mere eight chapters. The primary strength lies in its efficiency; it provides a concentrated dose of melodrama and affection without unnecessary filler. However, the extreme brevity is also its greatest weakness. It is nearly impossible to establish meaningful character arcs or a believable transition from the countryside to the city in such a limited space. The narrative feels more like a series of vignettes than a fully realized story. While it serves as a quick diversion for fans of the genre, the lack of depth prevents it from leaving a lasting impact. It is a functional, if superficial, piece of short fiction that prioritizes trope-delivery over substantive storytelling.
