Synopsis
Wei Ming was once a feared and vicious presence, but a sudden hospitalization leaves him fundamentally changed. Upon waking, the former terror is replaced by a whimsical individual who finds joy in makeup, wigs, and feminine fashion. As he navigates his new identity, he accidentally entangles himself with a powerful boss while struggling to reconcile his social status as a young master with his personal preferences. This story leans heavily into cross-dressing tropes and identity comedy, reminiscent of lighthearted BL rom-coms that play with gender expression. It is ideal for readers who enjoy fluffy, non-traditional character dynamics and gender-non-conforming protagonists. However, those looking for a gritty plot or conventional gender roles should look elsewhere. Given its brevity, the pacing is immediate, focusing on the stark contrast between the protagonist's past and his current eccentricities. The standout quality is the sharp pivot in characterization, turning a feared figure into a fashion-forward romantic lead.

Editorial Review
From an editorial standpoint, the premise is intriguing. The transition of a feared antagonist into a feminine, fashion-loving lead provides a strong hook that fits well within the BL genre's penchant for subversive character dynamics. The contrast creates immediate comedic and romantic potential. However, the most glaring issue is the length. Listed as completed with only a single chapter, the work fails to deliver on its promise. There is no room for actual character growth, plot development, or the resolution of the tension between the protagonist and the boss. While the core idea is charming, the execution is non-existent in terms of narrative scale. It feels more like a detailed prompt or a character sketch than a fully realized novel. For a library entry, this provides very little value to the reader despite the appealing setup.
