From an editorial standpoint, the premise is the only saving grace here. The setup of a disgraced cult leader being handed over to a rival creates immediate, palpable tension and a strong foundation for a psychological power struggle. However, the execution is fundamentally flawed due to the length. With only three chapters listed as completed, the narrative is essentially a fragment. It is impossible to develop the promised themes of enmity and redemption or to flesh out the supporting cast in such a limited space. While the chemistry between the leads is hinted at, the lack of content renders the experience unsatisfying. It functions more as a character sketch than a finished work of fiction.
