This work is less a novel and more a brief character sketch. The primary strength lies in its clear, punchy premise; the irony of a man forced to tease a monk, only for the monk to eventually retaliate, provides a satisfying, if simplistic, narrative arc. However, the execution is severely hampered by its length. With only a single chapter, there is no opportunity for genuine character development or plot progression. The author's own admission of the work's amateur nature is evident in the lack of depth. While the BL tropes are present, the lack of substance makes it impossible to engage with the characters on any meaningful level.
