Synopsis

From an editorial standpoint, this work is more of a vignette than a full-fledged novel. The strongest element is the immediate hook; the irony of Tang Miao's rebirth leading him away from a toxic past and toward a new, albeit intimidating, love interest is a classic draw for the BL genre. The dynamic between the spirited protagonist and the stoic Mo Jingrui provides a spark of chemistry right from the start. However, the most glaring issue is the length.
