I’m pleased to bring you the first volume of my new work, This Is the Wizard’s Secret Weapon!

Now, that aside…
How should I put this…? Readers who have been following my works since the recently completed Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor must surely be saying something like…
“That damn Hitsuji… He wrote another magic academy story?!”
And, well, you’re absolutely right! Guilty as charged.
After so many years of writing a story about a magic academy, this new work is yet another magic academy story?!
I know! I’m well aware! I’m even thinking the same thing!
But! If you read it, you’ll see! You should understand—while this new work, This Is the Wizard’s Secret Weapon, is set in a magic academy like Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor, the two works read completely differently from each other!
As for the protagonists, we’ve gone from an instructor who was a relatively mature adult to a student who is still an immature and developing youth! And we’ve gone from a story with a strong nuance of self-discovery to one of love and adventure among young people who are heading full speed ahead in pursuit of their future dreams! This work depicts a story that I wasn’t able to include in Bastard Magic Instructor! But of course, I’m sure it’s a story that fans of Bastard Magic Instructor will also enjoy!
I hope you will all look forward to seeing where I will take this new story as a writer!
