Synopsis
After being betrayed and murdered by his own brother, seventeen-year-old Elias Black is resurrected through a sinister pact with a demonic entity. Bound by the Devil's System, he must hunt souls and master forbidden arts to secure his vengeance against those who wronged him. This novel reads like a classic dark progression fantasy, heavily utilizing the System and Rebirth tropes. It is ideal for readers who enjoy grimdark narratives and the tension of power-scaling with a cost. However, those looking for a lighthearted adventure or those who dislike adult-oriented themes should avoid it. The pacing is driven by a cycle of growth and retribution, with the standout quality being the inherent risk associated with the protagonist's forbidden abilities. As Elias grows in strength, the plot expands from a personal vendetta into a struggle against a grand, existence-threatening conspiracy.

Editorial Review
This is a competent entry into the revenge-fantasy subgenre. The strongest element is the devil's bargain mechanic, which ensures that the protagonist's ascent in power feels earned and fraught with tension rather than being a simple power trip. However, the narrative's focus is currently fragmented. The inclusion of adult themes alongside a cosmic conspiracy creates a tonal inconsistency that may distract from the primary plot of retribution. At 75 chapters, the story has established its premise well but has yet to deliver on the larger promises of the sinister plan mentioned in the setup. While the progression is satisfying, the execution feels somewhat generic for the genre. It remains a promising start, but the author needs to better integrate the various genre elements to maintain a cohesive atmosphere as the stakes escalate.
