Bound by Bane establishes a strong, immediate tension through its dark premise and the inherent power imbalance between its leads. The author successfully creates a claustrophobic atmosphere that suits the gothic vampire theme. However, with only 34 chapters currently available, the narrative feels like it is still finding its footing. There is a noticeable risk that the plot may become secondary to the erotic elements indicated by the genre tags, which could undermine the emotional weight of Agatha's plight.
