After putting away his gun, the Dinosaur King said dismissively, "I was just out for a stroll because I had nothing to do in Chichen Itza. It turned out to be quite fruitful. How interesting."
“You just said that if Dinos saw humans like us, he would mistake us for Oserot and kill us,” Olga Marie said with concern. “Then what about everyone in Chaldea…”
"Hmm?" Dinosaur King looked puzzled, then remembered, "Now that you mention it, a few days ago a large rock did fly to the vicinity of Chichen Itza and land, but I didn't let Dinos investigate, nor did I receive any news of a battle. Perhaps there are some people in Chaldea who know the situation, but they didn't show themselves, or they disguised themselves."
His answer was ambiguous, which matched Shiomi and the others' guesses.
However, the Dinosaur King clearly didn't intend to stay there any longer and turned to leave.
"Wait a minute, where are you going?" tide Jian asked.
"A foolish question. Of course, the answer is to go back to Chichen Itza," the Dinosaur King said without turning his head. "If you want to see me, come to Chichen Itza. Listen carefully, don't waste time. Miktland's days are numbered. Neither Dinos nor Oselotte are thinking about their own side's victory."
Having said that, the Dinosaur King disappeared into the forest with practiced ease.
If you want to catch up, you can.
"And the king of Chichen Itza..." Morgan pondered, "What does my husband think?"
Shiomi shrugged: "Although I don't know why Tescatlipoca would appear in the world with two different divine forms at the same time, since 'Blue' has extended an invitation, I'll go and see. If it's a trap, I'll take him down with me."
"This is really an unstable plan."
Orange lit a cigarette and took a deep drag.
Then everyone laughed in unison.

Chapter 41 Meeting with the Dinosaur King
In the rainforest, they encountered the Blue Tescatlipoca who called himself the Dinosaur King. Without wasting any more time, Shiomi and her group arrived at Storm Border, where they had landed near Chichen Itza, just as it got dark, and reunited with everyone.
The next day, after disguising herself with magic, Shiomi, accompanied by Morgan and Scáthach, walked through the streets where the Dinos lived and headed towards the altar where the Dinosaur King was located.
As she approached, Shiomi imagined that the things at the top of the altar that stretched towards the sky, resembling emerald-colored minerals, were actually resin.
The cosmic tree that runs through Miktland reaches its apex at this altar in Chichen Itza.
The shape, made of emerald-colored resin, resembles a giant claw reaching towards the sky, a unique structure seemingly formed to support things.
According to Tepeu, it was the "altar of the sun" that Dinos naturally set up after establishing Chichen Itza.
Whether in pan-human history or in Lostbelts, the higher the place, the closer it is to the sky, and thus closer to the gods, which is a symbol of the ruler's status.
However, the reason why Chichen Itza became a sacred place for the Dinos in Miktlan was because of a natural phenomenon unique to this place—the "Solar Journey".
As the name suggests, the "Solar Journey" originates from the beginning and end of the sun.
In the pan-human history, the sun is in the universe, and the earth revolves around the sun.
However, the underground world of Miktland has no universe; the sun is inside Miktland.
After integrating information from Pan-Human History and Miktland, Tepeu arrived at a conclusion roughly the same as that of Chaldea.
That is the sun of Miktland, an artificially created miniature sun, just large enough to support this nine-layered underground world that stretches for hundreds of kilometers.
In Miktland, the sun begins its journey from Chichen Itza on the third level, reaches the deepest ninth level, and then moves back.
The altar in the center of Chichen Itza is the "home" of the sun.
The sun is brought back, given new life, and then sent out for a new round of movement.
Those resin hooks, like the bases for holding pearls or crystal balls, are used to support the artificial sun.
“Even so, Miktland’s gravity comes from outside the Earth’s strata, and how the artificial sun can float remains a mystery,” Scáthach said.
“That’s easy to understand, isn’t it? The laws of Miktland… the Maiar haven’t developed like humanity has. Even in the underground world, the physical laws here aren’t entirely equivalent to those of pan-human history,” Morgan reminded him with a smile. “Furthermore, the faith of Kukulkan, the ‘Teachings of the Sun,’ also exists here—”
Shiomi jumped onto a huge staircase that was even taller than she was now, turned around and looked at the two of them: "This Lostbelt also has gods, or perhaps, that artificial sun is actually an incarnation of a Lostbelt god?"
“That’s what I mean.” Morgan nodded.
She and Scáthach grasped Shiomi's outstretched hand almost simultaneously, using it as a base to gracefully ascend the next step.
“In any case, as the Dinosaur King who rules Chichen Itza and governs the Dinos, Blue Tescatlipoca should be able to answer this question,” Scáthach said. “After all, according to the intelligence gathered by our companions who arrived here earlier, the Dinosaur King has ordered the Great Plains region adjacent to the Second Underworld to be sealed off, prohibiting anyone from approaching.”
Although the reason given was to prevent Oselot from entering the third layer where Chichen Itza is located and threatening the survival of those there, if the Black Tescatlipoca of Debit's side had such a plan, it would still be able to travel to the second layer area and launch a long-distance attack on Chaldea's Storm Border without directly clashing with Chichen Itza.
“That’s also something we need to figure out.” Shio turned to look at the top of the altar, where only a few steps remained.
The three of them climbed to the top of the altar. There was no Dinos there, only a boy standing under the golden Sunstone, with his back to Shiomi and the others.
It seems they were already waiting there.
"As mentioned yesterday, we have come to visit the King of Dinosaurs of Chichen Itza, the Blue Tescatlipoca."
Considering her different attitude from that of Black Tescat Riboka, Shiomi maintained the proper respect for the time being.
Since the gods are divided into two factions, there must be different inside stories between Tescatlipoca.
Instead of rushing into hostility, we should try to figure out who our friends are and who our enemies are, and find a more convenient and reliable way to resolve this Lostbelt.
"They arrived right on time, pretty much as I expected." The Dinosaur King turned around. "Anyway, let's get rid of the priests in Chichen Itza first. But those guys are very dutiful. Even if we let them rest, they'll be back soon."
“We have the same plan.” Morgan stood next to Shiomi, glancing at the area around the altar out of the corner of his eye.
There were no other magical reactions. Although the altar itself possessed magic, its nature was extremely pure. Even when they were inside it, the magical reactions would show signs of impurities.
This is the manifestation of the Great Source.
"Well then, let's introduce ourselves again." The Dinosaur King smiled calmly. "I'm meeting you not only as the Dinosaur King, but also as the King of the Lostbelt. Tell me, what is your purpose, and what do you intend to do in this Lostbelt?"
"Sever the Imaginary Tree, search for the ORT's whereabouts, and before the 'Alien God' merges with the sleeping ORT, defeat the 'Alien God' and sever the Imaginary Tree to prevent the ORT from awakening, thereby causing the destruction of the entire planet outside the Lostbelt." Shiomi truthfully answered her purpose.
Lying is not a meaningful option in the presence of God.
Especially in such open and honest situations.
Unless, of course, they came to declare war.
"I see." The Dinosaur King was slightly surprised, but immediately understood the situation. "That makes sense. Your powers were taken away after you entered this Lostbelt, taken away by three parties with different stances."
"Reclaiming my husband's powers is also something that must be done, but it just happens to align with the original purpose, which is why it wasn't specifically mentioned," Morgan explained. "Unless it's also important to the Dinosaur King."
"It's not that important, but since it's a trial arranged by the 'Black' side, I want to see if the person involved intends to give up the trial," said the Dinosaur King.
“Aside from the demoness we have already defeated, the remaining beings who wield my power are the ‘Alien God’ and the man who calls himself Kamazot,” Shiomi said. “I wonder if the Dinosaur King knows anything about this Kamazot? Of course, I know he is not the Kamazot from the pan-human Aztec mythology.”
Chapter Forty-Two Conditions
tide Jian's words prompted the Dinosaur King to ponder deeply.
“Kamasots, I’m not very familiar with that guy, but I’ve run into him while protecting Chichen Itza,” said the Dinosaur King. “I can provide the information, but there are conditions.”
“Conditions?” Scáthach raised an eyebrow.
"You heard about it when you came here; Chichen Itza has now blocked the roads leading to the deeper plains."
The Dinosaur King, along with a few others, moved towards the side of the altar that led deeper into Miktland.
Standing beside the altar on that side, Shio and the others, through their extraordinary vision, glimpsed a part of the Second Underworld, Ishtaruki.
The Second Underworld, devoid of any vegetation and composed entirely of dark stone mines, presents a completely different image from the First Underworld, Terratrauki.
It is closer to the image of the underworld or even hell.
In particular, the altar itself offers a glimpse into the instability of the second underworld.
"The Second Underworld... is collapsing?" Morgan pressed his forehead.
She saw the boundary between the Second Underworld and the Great Plain, where huge rocks were constantly collapsing and falling into the plain.
Although the wooden fence built by Dinos's people had stopped the rampaging rocks, it was clear to everyone that the process was completely unstoppable.
The Second Underworld completely collapses, and the rocks spread to both sides. Although it doesn't cause floods like the First Underworld, the pure rockfall disaster can still submerge the Third and Fifth Underworld, where Chichen Itza is located.
In terms of disasters, it is not as bad as a great flood, and Chaldea can ignore it and wait for the disaster to end.
But for Chichen Itza, it was a devastating catastrophe that could not be ignored.
No wonder the Dinosaur King said that in the forest yesterday.
“Wait a minute, Kamazotz deliberately told us that the ‘Alien God’ is in the Second Underworld.” Scáthach recalled some previous events. “Could this be the work of the ‘Alien God’?”
“I don’t know about Jiu,” said the Dinosaur King. “Although the Dinos are excellent in combat, that’s only when facing disasters or fighting Oselotte. In the face of such a terrible situation, those guys are useless.”
Shiomi crossed her arms: "So the Dinosaur King wants us to investigate the Second Underworld, find out what the 'Alien God' is planning to do there, and preferably prevent the Second Underworld from collapsing, is that what you mean?"
“That’s right. These are the conditions,” said the Dinosaur King.
"Um……"
Having received a definitive answer, Shiomi pondered for a moment.
"In terms of results, it aligns with our objectives," Morgan said. "If this ongoing disaster is related to the 'Alien God,' whatever their purpose, we must try to get close and reclaim the 'balance' from them."
“My wife is right.” Shiomi nodded. “The matter itself is troublesome, but the conditions are not harsh. We can agree to your request. In exchange, please tell us about Kamazot and where we can find him.”
The Dinosaur King showed a satisfied expression.
"A very good response. Let's wait and see how you perform."
As he spoke, he turned and walked alone into the altar.
Scáthach pressed on, asking, "So, Blue Teskalipoka, are you truly the king of this Lostbelt?"
This question caused the Dinosaur King to fall silent for a moment, or rather, to think about how to answer them.
"To be precise, no." Dinosaur King stood in front of the Sunstone, looking at the patterns on it, and said, "I am merely an agent of the Lostbelt King."
"Agent?" tide Jian was surprised.
“‘If you don’t want to be killed, then rule Chichen Itza in my place.’” The Dinosaur King said this with a hint of helplessness in his voice. “A year ago, I was threatened like that. Anyway, I had nothing else to do, so I accepted.”
It wasn't because I was afraid of dying, but simply because I had nothing else to do, so I just agreed.
Blue Tescat Riboca is most likely another deity that appeared in the world at the same time as Debit's Servant.
However, in terms of the scale of its Spirit Origin, it does not have the Grand rank of Black Tescat Riboca; it is only at the level of a regular top-tier Servant.
"So, you're saying you only took on the role of Lostbelt King to kill time?" Shiomi asked thoughtfully. "What about the original Lostbelt King?"
"Who knows?" Dinosaur King scoffed. "That guy's brain is basically blank. Who knows which level of nonsense he's messing around on right now."
Clearly, Dinosaur King doesn't intend to reveal too much information about the Lostbelt King.
The current Shiomi and the others, as well as Chaldea, do not have that qualification.
That's the attitude.
Of course, brute force could be used, but that would mean hostility, turning Dinos and Chichen Itza, who could have been allies, into adversaries.
"Then hurry back and prepare. There are only so many Dinos, and even fewer warriors who can work on the front lines." The Dinosaur King waved his hand. "The Second Underworld is now a complete dead zone. The only ones who can walk through it are the gods and the indomitable warriors."
“A warrior…?” tide Jian mused.
Although their words and actions are not entirely consistent, the two Tescatlipoca are quite similar in their preference for warriors.
"I will order the warriors on the plains to take note: from now until Chaldea displays hostility, Chichen Itza will not consider you enemies. There's no need to continue using those half-baked disguise magic tricks." The Dinosaur King began to urge them on. "Hurry up. The collapse of the Second Underworld has been going on for three or four days. At this rate, in three or four days at most, Chichen Itza will be buried under the rubble of Ishtaruki. Stop this before it happens."
Then, the Dinosaur King used the excuse that Dinos' priests were returning to make Shiomi and the others leave the great altar in Chichen Itza.
After descending from the altar and returning to the streets of Chichen Itza, Shiomi kept pondering a question.
"Why would the 'Alien God' want to destroy the Second Underworld? Wouldn't it be more threatening to us to defeat the holders of the other two parts with its own strength and then gather all their powers together?"
After he made that suggestion, Scáthach could only shrug.
"I cannot answer that, my beloved student."
Morgan then reached out and placed his hand on his chest.
"It's hard to say what kind of impact different beings would have on themselves if they came into contact with this power... At least for the past two days, I've been dreaming about my husband's memories every time I fall asleep."
She was just expressing her feelings, but afterwards she felt it was too emotional to be taken as a reference.
"Never mind, my husband and Scáthach don't need to worry about it. Just focus on preparing for the trip to the Second Underworld."
However, Shiomi did not deny Morgan's idea.
