Synopsis
Dugu Hong is a high-IQ student whose intellectual gifts are ignored by his peers. After being trapped in a remote cave within the Wuxia game Jiang Hu by malicious classmates, he refuses to surrender and instead masters the game's internal energy systems. This digital breakthrough coincides with the awakening of supernatural powers in his physical life as he attempts to save a girl from criminals. This work reads like a classic Urban Cultivation tale blended with LitRPG elements, focusing on the hidden expert trope. It is ideal for readers who enjoy underdog stories and the fantasy of game mechanics manifesting in reality; however, those seeking a long-form epic should skip this. The narrative promises a rapid ascent in power, though the current delivery is extremely brief.

Editorial Review
From an editorial standpoint, the premise provides a solid hook by turning a disadvantage—being trapped in a game—into a catalyst for growth. The dual-progression between the virtual world and reality is a staple of the supernatural genre that usually performs well. However, the most significant flaw is the length. Listing a single chapter as a completed work is highly misleading and prevents any real character arcs or plot resolution from unfolding. While the initial setup is competent, there is simply not enough content to provide a satisfying reading experience. It functions more as a conceptual pitch than a finished novel. Consequently, the value proposition is extremely low despite the intriguing starting point.
