"Nothing much, just came to check on you, and by the way, tell you that Nangong Jun plans to get Master Niu out."

"Get him out?" Jiang Xue’s expression changed, and she said, "Even if he wants to get him out, that depends on whether I agree."

After speaking, Jiang Xue didn’t pay further attention to Nangong Chen, but instead directly made a phone call. Previously, Mu Qiancheng had given her the contact of an old colleague at the public security bureau. She had never had the chance to use it, but now she planned to keep Master Niu detained for a while.

Nangong Chen watched, laughed, then picked up his cup and gently clinked it against Jiang Xue’s. After clinking cups, both drank their tea.

After finishing the tea, Nangong Chen and Jiang Xue started talking about business matters, particularly the project Jiang Xue’s team was currently working on. Nangong Chen was very interested and intended to invest.

After listening, Jiang Xue pondered for a moment before making an internal call. Recently, the company indeed faced some financial shortages. If Nangong Chen could invest and collaborate, things would likely improve greatly.

Before long, Shangguan Wenbin and Wang Jun arrived at Jiang Xue’s office. Jiang Xue introduced Nangong Chen to them and mentioned that he was interested in investing.

After hearing Jiang Xue’s words, Shangguan Wenbin was the first to speak, "Sis, a couple of days ago we touched base with Mr. Feng, and he’s also interested in investing in our company. He’s already promised to transfer some funds over in a few days. So, for now, our company isn’t short on funds."

Mr. Feng, whom Shangguan Wenbin referred to, was Mu Qiancheng’s old colleague Fengzi. Ever since Jiang Xue established her company, he had been quietly keeping an eye on it. Upon learning about their financial issues, he proactively reached out to Shangguan Wenbin.
