Unbeknownst to Julian Campbell, Sophie Wilson had startled him with her carefree demeanor in Jim Perry’s mind; she was happily studying the menu.
"Hmm, I’ll have this, this, and this," Sophie Wilson pointed out her chosen dishes to the waiter.
The waiter took note of her selections one by one, and waited for Charles Seymour to complete his order before leaving.
"Benjamin Walton came by this morning," Sophie Wilson mentioned the event with a smile, "Benjamin still wants to exploit Emerie... Tsk tsk tsk, if he knew that his company’s recent misfortunes were because of Emerie, how do you think he’d feel?"
"Oh my..." Sophie Wilson rubbed her hands together in excitement, "As long as Benjamin and Emerie remain married, I won’t ask anyone to raise the standards for their company."
Charles Seymour held back laughter and shook his head with a sigh: "Naughty."
She’s raising the standards, not making things difficult. No matter how Benjamin tries to find someone, he’s the one with the unreasonable stance.
What’s wrong with raising standards?
What’s wrong with strictly ensuring quality?
Is Benjamin really going to use subpar products to deceive consumers?
Benjamin is now in a bitter situation without even being able to express it.
"Sophie, I’ve made the thing," Charles Seymour said the moment that left Sophie Wilson a little stunned, then she laughed, "Indeed, you’re a genius!"
"Shall we try it when we get home?" Sophie Wilson asked with sparkling eyes.
Charles Seymour frowned: "I can’t guarantee the final product."
For a year, he had been researching based on the notes from Sophie’s past life and finally created the potion.
As long as this potion is administered, Sophie’s body will slowly recover and will no longer continue to weaken.
However...
"Oh, what’s there to worry about," Sophie Wilson said with a smile, "It’ll definitely work!"
Seeing Sophie Wilson, who had even more confidence than him, Charles Seymour was truly at a loss for words.
"Come on, let’s start when we get home tonight," Sophie Wilson said with a smile.
Charles Seymour frowned and scolded softly: "Don’t be reckless."
After meeting Sophie Wilson’s puzzled look, he explained, "First, you need to adjust your body for a couple of days, then you can use it."
"Alright," Sophie Wilson happily nodded, "Once we solve this minor issue, we won’t have any problems in the future. Right?"
Faced with Sophie Wilson’s joyful smile, Charles Seymour thought about their future, feeling inexplicably uncertain but maintained his composure, nodding and saying, "Right."
"Alright, then I won’t do anything for these few days; I’ll just stay home and recuperate," Sophie Wilson said with a chuckle.
"Ah, no," Sophie Wilson frowned, "I have to tell my parents, just say... just say you’re going on a business trip and taking me along to have some fun."
She couldn’t let her parents worry too, this way she could put their minds at ease.
"Okay," Charles Seymour nodded; he had no objection to Sophie’s proposal.
Just as they were talking, the appetizer was served. Sophie Wilson happily speared it with her fork, took a bite, and her eyes lit up, nodding repeatedly: "It’s delicious!"
"Here," Sophie Wilson forked a bite and brought it to Charles Seymour’s lips.
Charles Seymour opened his mouth, bit into it, and slowly chewed, hearing Sophie’s relaxed voice say, "I believe in you."
Charles Seymour was greatly moved, looked up, and cast a complex gaze toward Sophie Wilson.
