Synopsis
Ye Shu enters a marriage of convenience with a single goal: produce an heir and secure her freedom. However, she finds herself bound to Shen Shaochen, a dominating tycoon who imposes strict rules on her lifestyle. When she finally attempts to divorce him after the birth of their child, she discovers that her husband has no intention of letting her go, sparking a battle of wills. This story leans heavily into the overbearing CEO and contract marriage tropes common in contemporary romance novels. It is ideal for readers who enjoy high-tension domestic dynamics and the slow transition from animosity to devotion. Those who prefer egalitarian relationships or fast-moving plots should likely skip this title. Given its immense length, the narrative prioritizes the gradual emotional shift of the protagonists over rapid plot progression, blending elements of romantic comedy with intense possessiveness.

Editorial Review
This novel offers a massive amount of content for those who enjoy the specific tropes of tycoon romances. Its primary strength lies in its commitment to the central couple; with over a thousand chapters, the slow-burn transition from a restrictive contract to genuine devotion is given ample room to breathe. However, there is a noticeable disconnect in the metadata, as the adventure genre tag is entirely inapplicable to what is essentially a domestic romantic comedy. Furthermore, the extremely low visibility suggests the work may be buried or lacks the polish needed to attract a wider readership. While the faithful 1V1 dynamic provides a stable emotional core, the repetitive nature of the controlling husband archetype may become tedious over such a long runtime. It is a competent example of its subgenre but fails to innovate beyond established clichés.
