Chapter 288: – Disturbance of peace.

[4 days ago.]"The fuck is going on?!" – said Porai as she was outside the dungeon with a mechanical magical set up with some kind of antenna like device.

"I don’t know! A massive horde of wyverns suddenly appeared out of nowhere!" – said the voice from the communication orb with metallic components attached to it.

"Look! I’m sorry! But the delivery is going to have to wait, we currently have our hands busy with this sudden emergency."

"Master told us to relay this message and asked if it possible to delay the deal."

"I’m sorry, but we really need to deal with this matter first."

"...Tch."

"Fine" – said Porai as she ended the talk and packed up her set up, before then heading right back to the dungeon, taking a hidden path, which led the woman to primitive elevator like device, which took the woman to the deepest level of a dungeon, where the woman then easily and completely unbothered explored the dungeon, arriving at the boss room, then core room, before then crossing paths with Thauma who was carrying a box filled with countless different sword blades.

{"Welcome back."} – written Thauma on the notebook with its free hands.

"Yeah... I’m back..." – said Porai while dragging the bag on the wheelchair which contained her equipment.

"Okay. So, I have somewhat bad news, and I think you should hear them."

"It seems that the next deal with be delayed for unknown amount of time."

{"Why?"}

"Welp... There is a monster outbreak... Or more exactly."

"A freaking invasion of a wyvern army on the empire."

"And from what I was told, I don’t think you will like the news."

"By the looks of things, the war may break out soon, if it didn’t already."

"?!"

{"Wait, but didn’t you said that everything was okay just few days ago?!"}

"Yes. Yes, I blood fucking did." – said annoyed Porai.

"But by the looks of things? A random bullshit situation popped up that nobody had expected."

"And I think we will need to contact Ariava about this as well." – said Porai as alongside Thauma arrived at the private room where the communication staff was located, which they used to establish connect with Ariava.

"Let me guess." – said Ariava as soon as the connection was established.

"Wyverns?"

"So I guess you heard?" – asked Porai.

"Yeb! I’m on my way to the Warmur kingdom." – replied Ariava.

"So, you didn’t knew anything about it?" – asked Porai.

"Nope... I did not... I’ve gotten info from way so many bastards... And yet I found nothing of sorts." – said Ariava.

"If I were to guess, the only top dogs of the Warmur kingdom had any information about this."

"However there is no doubt about it."

"Warmur kingdom is the one responsible for the incident."

"And the war itself may had already started."

"The info about the wyvern attack had already started spreading at alarming rate in the Miorio."

"Too fast even."

"Somebody must had deliberately spreading the information about the incident."

"Eh? Wait, wait, wait, wait."- said Porai.

"You are saying as if they don’t care if they are caught for this?"

"By the looks of things... Yeah." – said Ariava.

"And that is what I mean that the war may had already started."

"With this said, you know what to do you two."

"Yes" / {"Yes."} – replied Porai and Thauma.

"Welp... Good luck." – said Ariava as she ended the call.

"So.... Wow... That really came out of nowhere." – said Porai as she sat down on the chair nearby.

{"Is this what you meant by the war happening without warning?"}

"I mean... Yeah? But normally you cannot just prepare for the war out of nowhere without leaving any traces or anything like that."

"Like some kind of warnings, weird movements and what not."

"Not only that, but they freaking did that without declaring war on the empire?"

"Do they have any idea what sort of impact it will have on their image?"

(No matter how I look at this, this is just plain stupid.) – thought Porai.

(Several days ago, a wyvern attack occurred, which ended up completely exterminating the boarder base.)

(The threat level has been designed as A-rank as of right now.)

"No matter how I look at this, it could be a start of a freaking war."

"But something doesn’t make sense."

{"Didn’t Ariava screwed over both of Warmur and Miorio kingdoms?"}

"Exactly! It doesn’t make sense for them to attack now! They should be focused on restoring their nations after what Ariava did to them!"

"Everything just seems.... Off?"

{"Scheme?"}

"Probably... But what?"

(The empire was ready for conflict, so they should deal with this problem on their own, even without Ariava’s support... But still.)

The days would go past and the empire would mobilize their forces in order to deal with wyverns.

However, the amount of soldiers they had sent out to deal with wyverns was extremely overwhelming.

One may say it is an overkill.

But in reality, it was strategic.

Wyvern are highly mobility flying monsters and that is the biggest danger about them.

If the empire doesn’t aim for the overkill with their military strength, aiming to not only have enough soldiers to confront the wyverns, but also have additional soldiers that will block off any escape routes and hunt down the remaining wyverns.

"...But it still doesn’t make any bloody fucking sense." – said Porai as she was spinning on the chair in the workshop while Thauma was working on something.

"So far, no official war has been declared... And this should had been a perfect chance."

{"Maybe Ariava did caused so much damage that they cannot recover?"} – written Thauma with its free hands on the paper.

"If she freaking did that, then why the fuck they released these fucking wyverns?"

"Nah. Something ain’t right."

(Alliance would make sense, or some kind of new unknown force joining in... But what the hell is going on right now is... Well? Stupid.) – thought Porai as she continued spinning in the chair.

(...Either that, or something extremely nasty is about to happened right under our noses.)

"Just random talk.... But then again, maybe I’m-"

"?!" – before Porai could finish speaking, Thauma suddenly stopped working on its project, alarming Porai.

{"Alarm just went off."}

"Wait, what do you mean-Hey!" – before Porai could finish speaking, Thauma instantly rushed out of the workshop, and straight to the map room, before then taking up and connecting itself with the headgear.

"...Okay, what the hell is going on?" – asked Porai as Thauma connected with scout golems and was using the golems to scout the area.

{"I’ve received the alarm signal from the alarm device."} – written Thauma on the paper while still using the headgear device.

And as Thauma was using its scout golems, it spotted from afar what appears to be a raising cloud of smoke.

{"I think I’m under attack."}

"!?"

"Wait, hold the fuck up! What do you mean we are under attack?!" – asked confused Porai.

{"The alarm signal that is attached to this body went off, not only that, I see several clouds of smoke rising up from different locations from afar."}

"Can you give specific information?!"

{"No. It is too far away for my scout golems."}

"Fuck! Then let me!" – said Porai as she quickly ran to her room and used her liquid metal to grab one of the bigger bags before then quickly racing out of the main section of the dungeon.

(Attack?! We are under freaking attack?! NOW?!) – thought alarmed Porai as she raced to the hidden room with elevator.

(This is too sudden!)

(No wait! The vampire scouts! They should had communicated with me!) - thought Porai as she reached the first floor of the dungeon, before then running straight to the entrance.

(What the hell is going on?! Why there is attack now?!) – thought Porai as she arrived at the surface and instantly threw the massive box one the ground, before then quickly opening it up, revealing a massive bird like golem, which had fake feathers attached all over it.

"Common! Activate!" – said Porai as she put on a head gear device, similar to the one that Thauma was using, expect for the fact that it was a device that only covered the upper right part of the head.

And as the woman put on the device, the bird shaped golem activated, beginning to move around, before moments later a magic circles on the golem’s wings activated, unleashing a wind magic that shot up the creature upwards, allowing to begin its flight as it quickly left the fortified area around the dungeon and taking into the skies.

(Common.... Common!) – thought Porai as her headgear device was connecting with the golem... Managing to establish a connection as Porai was now able to see what the golem was seeing.

(Go!) – Porai ordered her false bird golem to begin flying throughout the Mevon territory.

"Ah shit."

And it didn’t took long at all, for Porai to see through the eyes of her golems, a cloud of raising smoke in the distance.

However, it wasn’t just one.

There were several of them.
