Diana stared at the glowing patch of earth where Victor’s blood had soaked into the soil. Her mind raced as she weighed Yehan’s proposition. Moving an entire solar system sounded like an impossible, universe-altering feat, but the terrifyingly nonchalant way Yehan had deleted Kaelen proved that his power transcended her comprehension.
Staying in this ruined, vulnerable space left them open to more invaders like the Demonic Dragon Empire. In the God Realm, Victor would be safe while his body pieced itself back together.
"Very well," Diana said softly, her voice steadying. "You have my permission. Please move our world."
Yehan smiled warmly and nodded. "A wise decision, Saintess."
He did not prepare a grand ritual or chant complex incantations. He simply raised his right hand and lightly flicked his wrist.
An invisible wave of absolute spatial authority washed over the entire Ethereum Solar System. The planets, the sun, the floating asteroid belts, and the very fabric of space holding them together were wrapped in a soft, dark cocoon. In a single heart-beat, the space where the solar system had existed for billions of years became utterly empty. Void of matter, void of light, void of anything.
An instant later, the cocoon unravelled.
The sun shone once more, but the surrounding cosmos was completely different. Nebulae painted in vibrant shades of gold, deep violet, and emerald stretched across the sky. The ambient energy in the atmosphere spiked by thousands of times, so dense it felt almost liquid. They had arrived in the core territories of the God Realm.
"My lady, please do not worry," Yehan said gently, seeing her anxious gaze remain glued to the ground. "He will awaken soon. His soul is entirely intact, and the bloodline is already working to reform his physical shell."
Before Diana could offer a word of thanks, the spatial fabric behind Yehan warped.
Yehan dropped to both knees without a moment of hesitation, placing his forehead against the earth.
"Greetings, Master," Yehan declared, his tone dripping with profound reverence.
A man stepped out of the rift. He wore simple grey robes and bore no overbearing aura, no crushing pressure, and no divine radiance. He looked astonishingly ordinary, like a middle-aged scholar taking a casual evening stroll. Yet, the absolute silence of the surrounding space heralded a presence that stood at the absolute pinnacle of existence.
One of the most powerful beings of the entire Heavenly Demon Race had ended his deep seclusion for the sole purpose of meeting her.
Diana felt an instinctual urge to show respect. She bowed her head deeply. "Greetings, Senior."
The master ignored the grand cosmic shifts around them and looked down at the pool of blood where Victor’s residual life force flickered. A soft, approving light flickered in his dark eyes. He raised a hand and gently pushed a strand of golden, origin energy into the crimson stain.
The moment that energy touched the blood, the slow trickle of resurrection surged into a roaring tide. Golden sparks erupted, and the vague outline of a human skeleton began to form at a visible speed.
"Come with me, child," the master said, looking at Diana with a warm, fatherly expression. "You do not have to worry. Yehan will stay right here and guard him until he resurrects completely."
Diana hesitated for a second. Every fiber of her being wanted to stay by Victor’s side until he opened his eyes. But she looked at the master, then at Yehan, recognizing the immense kindness and deference they were showing her. They had saved her life, avenged Victor, and relocated her entire world to safety. Using their goodwill to act stubborn would be foolish. Beside that, she could see the golden energy actively weaving Victor’s flesh back together. He was truly coming back.
"I will go with you," Diana replied quietly.
The master smiled, waved his sleeve, and both he and Diana vanished into thin air, leaving no trace behind.
Yehan rose from the ground and assumed a standing position beside the glowing pool of blood, acting as an unyielding royal guard.
Five hours passed in complete silence.
The skeleton finished clothing itself in muscle, organs, and skin. Golden flames licked across the newborn flesh, burning away the remaining impurities until the frame was whole once more. Another two hours ticked by before the chest expanded with a sudden, violent gasp of air.
Victor snapped his eyes open and sat up straight.
"Damn that bastard!" Victor cursed loudly, his fist smashing into the ground as the memory of Kaelen crushing him flashed through his mind.
Yehan’s mouth twitched slightly at the crude outburst, but he maintained his composure. This human was the sole anchor of their newly discovered Saintess, and the young man possessed a rather peculiar nature himself.
"Hello, human. I am Yehan. Welcome back to life," Yehan said with a courteous smile.
Victor scrambled backward, his eyes widening as every survival instinct inside his body blared alarm bells. The man standing before him felt infinitely more dangerous than the Demonic Dragon commander who had just obliterated him.
"There is no need to be afraid. I am not your enemy," Yehan assured him calmly. He then gave Victor a concise overview of what had transpired, Diana’s awakening, her Supreme Physique, their arrival in the God Realm, and her departure with the master of the Heavenly Demon Race.
Victor listened in silence, his mouth twitching as the information sank in. He had spent so much effort trying to grow stronger, trying to protect Diana and keep the cosmic forces away from her, only for her to be swept up by the highest authority in the universe anyway. The sheer gap in power made his previous struggle feel almost absurd.
Still, he took a deep breath and bowed deeply. "Thank you, Senior, for protecting her and bringing me back."
"No need for formality," Yehan replied, waving his hand. "I can tell you are very, very special yourself. Your foundation is far more powerful than any ordinary Sovereign. Besides, how did an ordinary mortal manage to integrate with a pristine lesser phoenix bloodline? I can even sense another Grade Eight bloodline residing inside your body."
Victor remained quiet, not offering an explanation.
Yehan simply chuckled softly. "Do not worry, I will not pry into your secrets. Tell me, would you like to join the army of the Heavenly Demons? With your talent, you could achieve great things under our flag."
Victor thought about it for a moment before shaking his head politely. "Thank you for the offer, Senior, but I need some time to think and organize things first."
"Fair enough," Yehan said, not pressing the matter further. He tossed a dark crystal token toward Victor. "This is a communication stone. Use it if you ever need to reach me."
Without another word, Yehan stepped back and dissolved into space.
Left alone in the quiet wilderness, Victor exhaled a heavy breath.
"System, tell me," Victor whispered in his mind. "Can they sense you?"
[No. I have already cut off all connections with every Ethereum inhabitant and erased their memories regarding my administrative functions. I know nothing about the Heavenly Demons, so I am exercising extreme caution.]
Victor nodded to himself. "That was the right call."
He stood up, stretched his newly reconstructed body, and leaped into the sky to locate his family. After ensuring that his relatives were completely unharmed and settling them within the secure boundaries of their relocated planet, Victor made his way straight toward the deepest training chamber available.
Victor wanted to become stronger as quickly as possible.
If he delayed any longer, Diana’s growth would surpass his own. With her terrifying talent and awakened bloodline, the gap between them would only continue to widen until she left him far behind.
Although Victor still possessed an enormous reserve of Evolution Points, he had no intention of spending them for now.
He wanted to comprehend the remaining Domains with his own ability and raise each one to the Ninth Level. Only by personally walking that path could he build a truly solid foundation for the future.
The World System’s voice echoed inside his mind.
[Victor, you should return to the Mortal Domain.]
[This region is filled with beings whose strength vastly exceeds your own. Remaining here serves little purpose. Every battle carries unnecessary risk.]
[If you wish to obtain more Evolution Points, you must travel across the universe and hunt powerful monsters. However, the God Realm is not suitable for you at your current level.]
[Allow Ethereum to develop naturally. Ask Yehan to send you back to the Mortal Domain. There, your growth will be far more efficient.]
Victor silently nodded.
"I will first comprehend the Chaos Domain."
"After that, I will speak with Diana before leaving."
He gazed toward the distant horizon.
"Besides, the God Realm belongs to the divine races. Without an exceptionally powerful bloodline or enough strength to command respect, I will only be looked down upon there. There is no reason for me to remain."
Taking a slow breath, Victor calmed his mind.
He closed his eyes.
