Andre put on his clothes and focused on the state of his soul.
His once-ethereal soul had solidified significantly since he became a Wizard. As his Power continued to grow, his soul continued to condense.
As his soul solidified, he could precisely identify the different Elements within the Magic Power around him.
’Once my soul is completely solid, it’ll be time to advance to Level 2 Wizard. But it seems my body will probably cross that threshold even before my soul does.’
Andre looked down at his body and clenched his fist.
With the sound of cracking knuckles, Andre took a deep breath and threw a hard punch.
Instantly, the force of the blow blasted a large crater into the ground.
’Before reaching the rank of Morning Star Great Wizard, Body Refining Wizards are easily kited to death by other types of Wizards using Witchcraft. But once they become a Morning Star Great Wizard, their bodies are like actual stars. A wave of their hand has the force of a meteorite strike.’
Andre shook his head as he felt the concentration of the Bloodline within him, which had grown even denser with his promotion.
Now, he had one more thing that would drain his resources.
Still, having both his body and Spirit reach the Official Wizard level simultaneously was a happy occasion.
’With Chaos Magic Power as my foundation, I can manifest other Elements. Right now, I can produce Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, and Thunder—the five major Elements.’
’As I grow stronger, powers like Ice, Light, Dark, Poison, Time, Space, Destiny, and Causality will all become part of my arsenal.’
’But right now, the most important use for my Chaos Magic Power is for expeditions.’
’Expeditions involve traveling to Otherworlds. Once there, things are simple if you don’t encounter someone favored by the World Origin, like my ancestor was. If you do, however, Chaos Magic Power becomes the key to breaking the deadlock.’
Andre accessed the knowledge about Otherworlds from his Bloodline inheritance. He discovered that a person or object blessed by a World Origin had their combat effectiveness doubled within that world.
Take his deceased ancestor, Angelson, for example. If only two Red Sun Great Wizards had come for him instead of three...
...those two Red Sun Great Wizards would have stood no chance against his ancestor. He might have even seized an opportunity to kill them instead.
When fighting someone like that, the world itself suppresses the invaders’ surroundings. It reduces the Magic Power they can absorb, weakens their Witchcraft, and can even summon natural disasters to strike them down.
Chaos Magic Power, however, was different. It could suppress and erode that world consciousness, because Chaos is itself a primordial state of any world.
To put it bluntly, it turned any battlefield into his home turf.
’Now, it’s time to reap the rewards.’
A fervent glint flashed in Andre’s eyes as he looked at the treasures around him. He immediately started to run.
This time, however, he didn’t cast Multiple Wings of the Wind. He could now walk on air using his physical body alone—an Ability he gained when his Body Refinement reached the Official Wizard level.
’Earth Flame Crystal. Excellent. I can use this to research Fusion Witchcraft for the Earth and Fire Elements. It has immense research value.’
’Freesia? They even have this? According to legend, hasn’t this been extinct for centuries?’
’A Destiny Flower, one of the Destiny Magic Plants. It may be the weakest of its kind, with its only effect being to steal someone’s luck for five minutes, but that’s still an unbelievably powerful plant.’
’A Mad Battle Blade and Gale Boots... Divine Power Tools for my kinsmen. I could sell them, or keep them for research. Excellent. I’ll take them!’
’Such a huge piece of Bright Sky Stone!’
After collecting several treasures, Andre pricked his finger with a nail and let a drop of blood fall onto a Divine Array.
As a golden light slowly faded, the Bright Sky Stone revealed before him made Andre’s eyes widen. It was half the size of a man!
’If I fashion this Bright Sky Stone into a Witchcraft Tool to protect my Soul, I doubt anyone below the rank of Morning Star Great Wizard could overcome the Light Power contained within it.’
Andre stored the Bright Sky Stone away and continued gathering the other treasures.
With his current strength, Andre cleared out all the treasures from the Secret Realm in under five minutes, leaving it completely empty.
’There are a lot of treasures here, but for me, they’re only enough to reach the rank of Level 3 Grand Wizard at best—and that’s only if I’m incredibly frugal.’
’If I use them without restraint, they’ll only get me to Level 2 Wizard.’
Andre gathered everything up. After taking inventory, he frowned.
Fortunately, this twin Secret Realm wasn’t the only one Angelson had left behind; he had established others in different locations.
This was both good news and bad news for Andre.
The remaining Secret Realms were, for the most part, not located in the Senbai Wizard World.
In other words, Andre would need the ability to travel the Star Realm before he could continue his treasure hunt.
’Oh well. I guess you can’t get rich overnight.’
Andre almost instantly accepted the fact that the other Secret Realms were in different worlds.
He immediately pulled the coordinates for these Secret Realms from his Bloodline inheritance, committed them to memory, and prepared to leave.
But just as he was about to leave, Andre had a sudden thought. He recalled what had just happened in the Black and White Forest Secret Realm.
’Is there a hidden space here, too?’
Andre activated his Eye of Truth and carefully observed the Secret Realm.
Now that he was an Official Wizard, every detail of the Secret Realm was laid bare before his eyes. He could even perceive the Divine Arrays and Divine Patterns hidden within the spatial barriers.
’Nothing?’ After a careful scan, Andre found nothing new. He then activated his Light of Insight, using it in conjunction with his Eye of Truth to perform another, more thorough search. He still found no new treasures.
Only then was Andre certain that he had collected every last treasure in the Secret Realm.
’Next, I should dismantle these two Teleportation Arrays. But if I do, I won’t be able to return to the Black and White Forest Secret Realm.’
’But if I don’t, then when the Morning Star Great Wizards from the great families return and open this Secret Realm, they’ll find the Teleportation Array leading to the Black and White Forest.’
’And since Farrete just happened to send me to live in the Black and White Forest for four months, they’ll be watching my every move.’
Andre scratched his head, troubled as he stared at the extremely valuable Constant Teleportation Array before him.
