His eyes lit up when he saw the second treasure.
’A Flame Crystal, a type of Fire Element Crystal. It’s much purer and more volatile than an ordinary Fire Element Crystal.’
Andre’s gaze sharpened when he saw the Flame Crystal.
He needed the Four Major Elements Crystals for his upcoming promotion.
During this process, the purer the Elemental Crystals, the better.
The purer they were, the richer the Aura of Chaos they would generate under the influence of his Origin Technique.
And the richer the Aura of Chaos, the higher his chances of becoming an Official Wizard, burning the Truth accumulated within the System, and forming the Chaos Meditation Technique.
’The items left behind for the initial Divine Descendants included treasures like Flame Crystals and Muscle Regeneration Grass. So what kind of treasures would be in this second Secret Realm, the one for Divine Descendants who have already embarked on their path of growth?’
An imposing aura erupted from Andre at the thought, but he quickly reined it in.
’I’m not ready. I’m still missing the auxiliary Witchcraft Array.’
Andre took a sharp breath and layered another Sealing Witchcraft on himself. He had to avoid his body’s nature from forcing him onto the path of a Body Refining Wizard—a path he had no desire to take.
’No wonder Selena and the others have been scheming to get my Divine Blood. If I were in their shoes, I’d do the same.’
Andre began to work faster, pulling the treasures out from behind the clouds.
’An Earth Element Stone, Light-Holding Grass, a Wind Howling Stone... there’s even a Void Nether Stone.’
Staring at the stone in his hand, which was as large as a human head, Andre’s eyes went wide, and goosebumps broke out all over his skin.
A Void Nether Stone this large was more than enough to forge his very own Magic Value Space.
’Talk about a godsend.’
Andre went to put the Void Nether Stone into his Storage Ring.
Before putting it in the Storage Ring, however, Andre placed the Void Nether Stone inside a box. He then affixed several Witchcraft Scrolls to it, sealing the stone’s fluctuations.
Otherwise, it would be impossible to put the Void Stone into the Storage Ring.
The Void Nether Stone contained an immense amount of the Power of Space. Forcibly placing it into a Storage Ring would have only one outcome: a catastrophic explosion of spatial energy.
After storing the Void Stone, Andre’s expression became even more fervent. His hands moved in a blur, and soon he had retrieved all the glowing treasures from behind the clouds.
His Storage Ring now held over twenty new, precious treasures.
’A Flame Crystal, a Water Element Stone, a Wind Howling Stone, and an Earth Element Stone... I’ve managed to gather a complete set of enhanced Elemental Crystals.’
Andre walked to the edge of the clouds and leaped down, landing back in front of the stone gate.
After stepping through the stone gate, Andre followed the instructions from his bloodline inheritance and detached the entire gate from the Secret Realm.
This stone gate was one of only two Divine Power Tools in this Secret Realm; the other was the permanent Teleportation Array.
’The Gale Gate. An ancient Divine Power Tool, and the most powerful one in this Secret Realm. It’s one of the protective treasures my ancestor Angelson left for his descendants.’
Andre dripped his blood onto the gate’s lintel. The Gale Gate immediately shrank to the size of his palm, and he took it in his hand.
The abilities of the Gale Gate weren’t limited to just generating gales to blow people away. It could also manifest several Divine Arts to use against enemies. It also possessed immense Defense Power, making it a powerful treasure that combined utility with both offense and defense.
’If those three Red Sun Great Wizards hadn’t been so utterly ruthless back then, this Gale Gate probably would never have fallen into my hands.’
An image of Angelson’s battle against the three Red Sun Great Wizards surfaced in Andre’s mind, and he shook his head.
After killing Angelson, those three Red Sun Great Wizards had drained the Divine Blood from every single member of the Supreme God Clan, leaving not a single drop behind.
If some of Angelson’s Divine Blood hadn’t spilled into the Senbai World due to his injuries during that battle, mixing with the blood of other Divine Spirits to form what Andre now knew as the Bloodline of the Gods; and if Andre hadn’t, by a twist of fate, activated the Angeles bloodline... well, this Gale Gate would have probably just turned to ash in this Secret Realm, just like all the other Divine Power Tools that had already decayed.
"Sigh." Andre pushed the bloodline memory to the back of his mind and shook his head. He then took a piece of metal from his Storage Ring and cast the Fireball Technique, melting the metal into a long, thin chain.
Once the chain was formed, Andre threaded it through a hole in the Gale Gate and hung it around his neck.
’This is the safest way to carry it. Plus, it can serve as a hidden trump card.’
Andre settled the Gale Gate necklace around his neck. After testing it and finding it to be virtually weightless, he finally walked toward the Teleportation Array.
He then poured a large number of Magic Stones from his Storage Ring onto the Teleportation Array.
The instant the Magic Stones touched the array, the once-dark Teleportation Array flared to life.
It began absorbing the Magic Power from the Magic Stones at an incredible rate. As the Magic Power vanished, the stones instantly crumbled to dust.
Seeing the Teleportation Array’s reaction, Andre poured out even more Magic Stones.
He wasn’t sure how many he had poured out, but eventually, the light from the Teleportation Array stabilized and stopped absorbing the Magic Power from the stones.
Only then did Andre put the remaining Magic Stones back into his Storage Ring. He glanced at the pile of dust formed by the used stones; it was already calf-deep.
’It took all those Medium Magic Stones just to activate this Teleportation Array... and that was a tenth of my entire reserve.’
Wincing at the expense, Andre stepped onto the Teleportation Array and activated a Divine Art from his bloodline inheritance.
A golden light flared from him, and the Teleportation Array erupted in a silver-white brilliance. Andre’s figure vanished within the light, transported to another Secret Realm.
’So this is the Secret Realm the great clans have been obsessed with?’
When the light faded, Andre blinked. He stared at the Secret Realm before him, took three deep breaths, and his eyes began to burn with excitement.
He could sense that the concentration of Magic Power in this Secret Realm was nearly identical to that of the Senbai World.
In other words, the situation that had occurred in the Black and White Forest Secret Realm was not an issue here.
’The Black and White Forest Secret Realm held a powerful Divine Power Tool like the Gale Gate. How many more tools just as powerful are waiting for me in this Secret Realm?’
