Synopsis
A bustling urban center serves as the backdrop for an inn managed by Boss Peng, who finds himself overwhelmed by a menagerie of eccentric creatures. From money-attracting Qilin to stubborn pangolins, the residents employ every possible excuse to avoid paying rent or vacating their rooms. The domestic chaos reaches a peak with the presence of Li Yize, a powerful dragon who views the other inhabitants as potential snacks and relentlessly drains the owner's financial reserves. This story maintains a light, breezy tone, functioning as a series of comedic vignettes rather than a high-tension plot. It escalates through the whimsical dynamics of a monster kindergarten, offering a low-weight reading experience that prioritizes charm over conflict. Those seeking a cozy, low-stress escape centered on creature antics and a specific romantic pairing will find the atmosphere rewarding. Conversely, individuals searching for intricate world-building or high-stakes drama may find the simplicity of the daily-life focus frustrating.

Editorial Review
The strength of this work lies in its commitment to a relaxed, comedic atmosphere. The interactions between the opportunistic monsters and the exhausted Boss Peng provide consistent humor, while the relationship between the human lead and the dragon adds a layer of sweetness to the chaos. Being a completed story of 106 chapters, it offers a satisfying, concise arc without the risk of abandonment. However, the limited scope is a notable drawback. Because the plot focuses almost entirely on daily interactions within the inn, there is very little growth in the overarching world or character development beyond the initial premise. Additionally, as a supplementary piece to a larger story, some of the emotional weight feels secondary to the gags. It serves its purpose as a lighthearted diversion, but it lacks the depth required to leave a lasting impression on a broader scale.
