Synopsis

In a world devastated by a viral zombie outbreak, the remnants of humanity cling to existence behind towering fortifications. Yu Ge spends his days in the grime of the wasteland, working as a scavenger who collects refuse to secure his own freedom. As a guide, his life is a repetitive cycle of labor and survival, stripped of wealth or ambition. This monotony shifts when he encounters Mo De, a nameless sentinel identified only by a number, who possesses an even deeper void of emotion and purpose. The story explores the friction and eventual bond between a sentinel designed for attack and a guide capable of forbearance.
